You say slowly but it must have risen a good 20% in recent months

The Nov Q3 update (covering 30 June to 30 Sept) should be very good.

The motor profits will still be very high.
There will be far less travel and business interruption (BI is a miniscule part of the business) losses.
Many of those one-off costs in the 6 months to June won't be included in the Q3 update either I don't think.

All of which points to a strong Q3 Update.

The Q3 update will also mention the solvency ratio. If the solvency ratio is above 160% money will returned to shareholders in more dividends. So the market should be paying a lot of attention to this.

My feeling is that if the solvency ratio is too high (above 170% perhaps), they may announce another special dividend at the Q3 update.

Also, providing the share price is 294p or higher, we should be admitted to the FTSE100 next month. If not, it will happen a few months down the line, when Brexit hits hard but doesn't affect DLG.

All in all there's many reasons to be bullish here; and - as said before - it's a super defensive share to own for a variety of reasons, and one of the most generous when it comes to dividend payments, so perhaps we shouldn't concern ourselves so much with this nonsensical sp movement below 300p.

Don't allow the share price falling a slither beneath 14p concern you because we've seen this a few times before where large sells are later deleted etc as the MMs try panic your average joe into selling their shares before they planned to, at a price they would be silly to accept.

This is the most undervalued diamond in the rough, sitting at the heart of a hugely exciting sector with the most remarkable growth prospects, with the most tremendous company-specific news already in the pipeline to trigger the re-rating all of us LTHs know is coming.

DYOR but we're all onto a bargain winner with this one, so you'll regret doing anything other than topping up or holding tight. My last top up was at 13.75p actually, so I'll happily top up at this level again.

Yes I read the IPO prospectus when I first bought. Read it again and in more detail and have since tripled my initial holding. Because it reads ever so well. For all the reasons I've detailed on this board previously.

Completely agree. A maiden dividend should really help catch the market's attention. Another share (called Base Resources) announced their maiden divi just the other day and it jumped 25%. Wouldn't be surprised if we do the same here ... which would bring me to my immediate term target of 160p+ actually! (Not saying I'll sell at that point, this is merely what I expect)

The risk vs reward at this price level is incredible. A complete no-brainer at these prices and the state of the economy.

Rokerpark - thanks for your post, it's good to speak with a fellow investor here, and yes totally agree! It's weird this share haven't attracted more attention but I believe that will change, and this Thursday's Final Results could well be the catalyst to send this flying!

Will look to make another top up to bring my average closer to 130p in the next couple of days : )

Just had a quick google to see if there are any links SRK Consulting have to Bushveld and there are but they're a bit historic.

Bushveld hired a guy called HG (Wally) Waldeck in 2010, who had spent the prior 21 years at SRK Consulting. But I'm not sure if he's still there.

Wally was then involved in the decision Not to pursue the Zaaiplaats Tin Tailings acquisition (which would've now been part of the divested AfriTin has it gone through). As was SRK Consulting.
