Eventually you learn to look through the nonsense (both rampers and derampers) and just trust the research you've already put in.

Agree that it's late but these quarterly operational updates are completely voluntary so there's no set timeframes they must adhere to.

Therefore I feel as though this late Q2 update suggests something positive is going on in the background which they wish to include within there.

This will be an exciting quarterly update actually because it'll be the first time we've had a full quarter with Vanchem being operational (you can't count Q1 when the lockdown interrupted everything!)

There's a lot of these research reports. Some predict that Vanadium price movements will continue to be dependent on what they done historically so don't expect much of an increase going forward, but I believe these miss the trick. Whereas other research reports seem to be on the same page as us, and expect Vanadium prices to explode this decade.

Will leave it up to you what you choose to believe but when you consider that ...

1) The world is switching from fossil fuels to green energy sources at an increasing rate each year (a snowball effect) - and this is despite Trump holding back the US that's quite something!

2) That it is a recognised problem that when the sun doesn't shine or the wind doesn't blow these solar / wind farms stop producing energy, and that's why fossil fuels typically have to burn away in the background still. And it is becoming increasingly common knowledge that v large scale Enerfgy Batteries are the solution to this problem.

3) Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFBs) are the best technology out there for this due to their unique properties;

4) VRFBs are also completely safe, whereas lithium batteries of the size needed for solar / wind farm energy storage are actually very dangerous

... it becomes apparent that Vanadium demand will increase massively from this brand new source in the years to come, lifting Vanadium prices to a brand new 'normal,' and it will be primary producers like Bushveld who benefit massively out of this!

Now here's the reason why we're so excited in the short term:

Eskom, the South African electricity public utility company, has decided to go in big into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESSs) They have decided to have 7 massive BESS sites across South Africa across 3 phases, which will require a total of 4,000 MtV alone. This is massive!

Phase 1 (of 3) consists of 3 different 'projects' that will begin construction in Q1 of 2021, and the tender for the first one of these projects is going on right now, it's worth $415,000,000 ALONE, and the tender is due to close on 11 September, and the news is expected about 1-2 months thereafter.

Now you may be thinking that a tender is not a foregone conclusion. However, following extensive research from some very knowledgeable board members, we have very strong reasons to believe that BMN will win this tender. Partially because Eskom's tender process massively favours local businesses but also for many other reasons someone like Alfacomp is probably best placed to explain.

Once BMN wins the contract for Project A (worth $415m) is announced later this year, with Projects B and C closely behind, it will be transformational for BMN and the share price.

It's for this reason my target price is 100p+ (and I don't mean that in a rampy way, this has genuinely been my target based on lots of research for a v long time)

This is perhaps not the most eloquent or comprehensive way to express this but here goes...

There is a green energy storage revolution coming and Vanadium beats the alternatives (including lithium!) in this sphere on a whole variety of ways. Energy storage is going to become increasingly vital in the future. It will be the 4th pillar of the energy transition chain.

Therefore Vanadium prices will increase massively in the years to come. The current V prices are mostly determined on the demand from the steel, aircraft, and car manufacturing sectors. It is yet to take into account all the green energy demand around the corner.

And, once you've concluded the future could not be brighter for Vanadium, Bushveld is the logical vanadium miner to invest in because it has loads of very high quality Vanadium which it is already mining and processing at an incredibly low cost. And it will be increasing production from roughly 2,900mtV last year to 8,400mtV over the next few years. The "Vanchem" acquisition that occurred towards the tail end of the 2019 year is a major part of that. And then, once they start developing Mokopane, Bushveld will be producing even more than 8,400mtV to cement it's place as one of the biggest vanadium producers in the world.

Last but not least Bushveld has one of the best CEOs in the world at its helm, who consistently seems to be in the right place at the right time to pull off the most remarkable of deals. This is how the NAV has increased hundreds of times over in the past 4 years.

Well done for posting this, gambitxjs, it's good to focus on some of the investors who must be new to BMN, possibly thinking about buying tomorrow :)

Knew that most of the Chinese steel mills would switch back to Vanadium. Nobium isn't as good since it's far weaker / more brittle. The only reason they went for the inferior product in early 2019 is because V prices were sky high. So yeah no surprise to see the switch back.

But anyway steel reinforcement is not why we're invested here anyway. It's all about the new green energy demand - that's the future!

If you didn't need the money, you've just a mistake. Not a massive one (it's only £1k) but still something you'll regret increasingly so as you watch the share price rise to 100p+ and you think how cheap you've sold those shares today.

Congestion being 93% of what it was in normal times suggests the rush hour / general driving has almost returned to normal levels already.

However that's not to say that driving in the dark and driving under the influence is anywhere near what it once was.

All of which indicates that motor profitability must still be much better than usual, even if it's not going to be quite as brilliant as I once had hoped.

Adjusted target price: 375p (down from 400p) = 20% upside from here including the dividends to come (which should total 10-14p I reckon).

Don't see there being any downside at these levels. Reckon 300p would be the absolute floor.

So I feel as though the Risk vs Reward = 4% risk vs 20% reward I suspect at this price level. Still a very nice split but not as much of a non-brainer as this was prior to the 4 August HY Results

Yes, the rise on the DSE has been impressive. It now trades at 97p over there. So how on earth is there no mojo for BXP on the LSE? I want to dip my toe in here but the sheer lack of trades puts me off !

it isn't a good price, it's an amazing price, a complete no-brainer in the long term. We're worth much more than this, I expect us to rise above 20p in the next couple of months, and 100p sometime therafter.

Makes zero difference to me. I would never top up whilst it's being pumped or sell whilst it's been dumped. I top up when no one gives a **** usually and wait until it rises to what I consider it to be fair value.

My long term target is 100p+ and no pump/dump is gonna change that or change my buy/sell behaviour

Strong Buy & Hold for the long term

Yes, I find it rather depressing how there's so many short term traders, because they kinda ruin share prices in the end when the main reason a share price has risen is due to them jumping on a bandwagon only to jump off it as soon as they've made 10-20%+ and send shares back to less than where they started. In my opinion that makes us reaching my long term target of 100p+ less likely!

Bascially wish we had more IIs on board here. Not a gang of pump & dumpers.

£176k worth (taking into account that 1 large sell too) in the past few trading hours! Looks like someone is building up a nice stake here. Very jealous because I honestly think this is a superb price to buying in at (my last top up was 132p myself)
