RE: what are you recommendations for a limit price?11 Feb 2021 17:43
yes but that's two sets of trade fees and at my paltry amount of spending that eats into a lot of gains. you think itll be more expensive to buy in the morning than set a limit price overnight? is that what you mean?
@diagnostic yes, utterly scary. although i only have 200 quid on this right now. what im learning is that the only way to learn with this stuff is to actually do it.
what are you recommendations for a limit price?11 Feb 2021 17:22
will preface this by saying i am a total newbie and really stock investing is a mystery to me.
ive set myself up on the x-o platform and going to attempt to buy this evening. what with the market closed, what are your recommendations for what my limit price should be in order to secure a successful deal in the morning when the markets open?
so i am a complete newbie to stocks and shares and really just winging this. tried to get in on this yesterday when it was .88 but no dice. got in today with only a couple of hundred pounds at 1.30 though. my question is why on the x-o platform does it tell me the share price is .965 so it works out what my stock is worth based on that price. it doesnt update throughout the day - why is that? it was saying that price when i bought at 1.34 and then again at 1.42 so shows a huge deficit right now in the portfolio value. mostly these questions relate to the fact im a complete novice.
