my problem really was greed. i thought, 'so what im nearly 6 times higher than my investment - let it rise more'. i didnt stick to my target at all so lesson learned.

i sold my ipo allocation after watching it hit 27 and believing the hype. watched it fall all of yesterday and then this morning believed the hype again so waited for it to rise. but then it hit 12! and i thought, f it! so im out!

hope it rises for everyone else!

this went from 5 to 28 and now down to 12. back to 5p doesnt seem to un reasonable with these numbers.

My trouble is that every time i invest in a new company i think that its just best to hold hold hold. with this one i think i need to take some profit and buy back in later if it dips.

@pingu - are you saying there is a right answer then?

as far as i understand it, with stocks, there is no right or wrong answer because the future is unknown.

im not a very experienced investor at all. on this one i want to try a bit of a gamble and i also need some money for other things. so tomorrow what i am going to do is sell my 4000 on a rise and be happy with my profit. and then, if it falls by a half decent amount, buy back my 4000 (if i can!). im thinking, with no expertise at all, that tomorrow itll go into the 30's. i hope to sell then, watch it come down into the 20's perhaps, buy back in and then itll rise again. but sure, isnt it all wishful thinking. not sure how im going to manage all that when im at the front of the classroom though

i dont understand. but they did sell for 5p and they did open at 20p? ergo giving people the opportunity to get a x4 return?

as for non pharma cbd and thc, they get a lot of use privately with cancer patients. certainly it isnt mainstream. my own mother used cbd and it extended her life for three good years. i know a guy who was diagnosed with a brain tumour after a collapse and they told him he had a month. his wife started him on cbd within days and 6 months later he had no tumour. the curing ability of cannabis is huge and its for that reason it has been and is do devastatingly regulated for so long. so this share was a no brainer for me.

where do you lot expect the share price to be throughout the year?

i put in a buy order limit for tomorrow and instead of writing pence i wrote in pounds. so naturally it was dealt immediately at the current price which was exactly what i didnt want. but! im back in at least.

what do you think i should set a buy order at this evening for a purchase tomorrow?

@grogers - will you buy back into clp or do you think it;s had its time. i did exactly the same as you but wondering whether to buy some shares back
