Anyone able to post a link to the interview please?
I can't believe we are back here again with the share price. I agree, we are completely under-valued however this is ridiculous after a year of excellent results, no debt and everything to play for.
I can't help but feel that the lack of information and communication from the company is not helping here - simply announcing a 'no-deal' with very little else to go on is not helpful at all, and has triggered this drop from what was, before the potential deal announcement, a relatively (for SDX) stable price. The fundamentals have not changed.
If the deal wasn't the right one for the company going forward, or for shareholders, i have no issue with that, but come on SDX, we need some action and communication to arrest and reverse this falling share price and preserve shareholder value.
And any joy with that? I expect his phone will be ringing off the hook!
Would my broker (IG) be able to provide more insight into this process if i contact them?
Not the RNS i was hoping to read when i saw it pop up, but aside from the obvious failure to re-admit in time, in principle it all still sounds positive.
Having not been a holder in a any company which have undergone this process, what essentially, in laymans terms, does this mean?
Do the shares just disappear from our accounts on the 11th Nov along with the financial value of those shares? Do they then re-appear exactly as they were (same number of shares and average price) when they do re-admit to trading? Or do the shares and value just sit there dormant and un-tradable as they have done during suspension?
If they don't re-admit to trading, what happens to our shares and our money tied up in them? is there recourse to get the value of the shares returned in anyway, or has it gone for good?
Thanks in advance for any enlightenment!
I do still intrinsically feel that this will come good, maybe that's just hopeful naivety, but i have faith in the company and where they are heading.
Just finished listening to the recording of the meeting in full - thanks very much for sharing that for the holders like myself who were unable to attend, and thanks in general to all who attended for providing their summaries, interpretation and feedback.
Overall, an excellent discussion, with many very pertinent questions asked, and answered well by Zaza considering the constraints of NDA's and sensitive points raised. I have had quiet confidence in this for a while despite many shakey moments, but from listening to the q&a's my confidence is well bolstered, and i am very much looking forward to the coming months. Despite spending the previous year desperate to see increases in SP, i now find myself for the first time selfishly hoping the share price stays relatively stable for a short time to allow me the opportunity to add another lump to my holding (without averaging up to much) before things really kick off! That said,
i am still happy with my holding, so if i've missed the opportunity to top up, i am happy to sit down and strap in for the ride! Thanks again to all of the meeting attendees, genuine posters on here and LTH's for the wealth of combined information and knowledge that has no doubt helped us all get to this point. Best of luck to you all as this develops :-)
Big initial drop and massive treeshake - MM's want your shares before the next run up - all LTH's here will know the news yesterday was long awaited, and is an excellent indicator of plenty of good news ahead in the pipeline. Hold on to those shares, the real run up is only just beginning.
All the negativity is new faces on here, either pi**ed off they missed yesterdays' start, or trying to open shorts after yesterdays rise, desperately hoping for a fall. Here's hoping they sheisters get burnt. If you know, you know. GLA LTH's.
RNS this morning.... positive news for the china resources with 31% uplift in prospective resources from 3d seismic.
Nice summary from Malcy on today's news.... very much confirms my earlier comments and thoughts. Onwards and upwards.
Whilst the drop in share price was inevitable, I think the MM's are using this as an opportunity to push as low as they can to trigger stop losses and Hoover up as many cheap shares as they can, knowing it's the last chance they will get at these levels. I expect it will recover a bit later today. Whilst the news on Kelvin wasn't what we all wanted, it was a risky well, and doesn't overshadow the fantastic progress made by SDX and the inherent value of the company. Perfect time to top up on cheap shares before the next leg up. GLA It is.
Anyone able to provide an update on how the todays buy/ sells volumes are looking? SP seems to have consolidated a bit from past few days sustained rise, seems a bit more stable after this mornings volatility and im expecting/ hoping for a bit of a rise back up this afternoon.
Well, its been emotional...IGAS were my first investment and introduction to the world of shares. A steep learning curve, despite the positive feeling when i bought in last year, averaging down where possible and still having lost over half of my relatively modest investment, i have serious doubts/ concerns/ frustrations over the running and future of IGAS and treatment of it's investors. Particularly following the recent share consolidation, the company just doesnt seem to have the plans / prospects and assessts to carry the consolidated share price, which has steadily dropped since the consol and i suspect will continue to do so unless some dramatic news or changes occur. I've have therefore decided to cut my losses to try and recoup some in my other investments. Ill be keeping an eye on IGAS though for sure, with a view to maybe buying back in at a lower price if things stabilise and some good news appears. Thanks to all on here for your info and knowledge, certainly been useful throughout.
Cheers Cebo, i thought that was the case but wanted to double check! In this for a longer haul than i thought but such is life! Fingers crossed the restructuring get Igas back to a level platform and able to concentrate on the tasks in hand and grow the company.
Relatively new to the world of shares, but held a relatively small amount of shares in Igas for a few months now (bought in at ~11p). Forgive my possible naivety, but i just wanted to check that existing shares do not get wiped or replaced with the intro of these new 4.5 shares? I understand that the current SP has dropped to fall in line with these new shares as a result of the restructuring, but other than the now-reduced value of my shares, i do not need to action anything or will not loose my existing shares in the restructuring? Thanks in advance!
