cheers: my belief that current political class in the UK is worse than the US one, is unshakable :)
Re the equity raise: at least I will be the moral winner, lol
is this a reverse take over? in car so can t read in much detail
I think Mr Beckham had plenty of time last Monday to reflect on his investment portfolio and has made a sensible decision. Pretty sure more to follow. If they buy back
after the equity raise, then I assume some may have a word or to say about that :)
Well, the month ain't over yet. TBH, does it really matter when it happens. Pretty sure it will. They just launched another loss making business overseas. Hardly going to help, is it.
Maybe it is to sucker a couple more investors in when they raise equity. "Now also loss making in the US"
"only", lol
I can wholeheartedly understand the excitement about a US entry. But I can also understand the sceptics. At the end of the day, the business has yet to demonstrate success in the UK so extending to another market feels very challenging.
At the same time, what does the RNS tell us? We have opened a webshop in the US. Ok, not the biggest deal. It's not like the have broken into retail and will ship pallets of boxes any time soon.
So for me this RNS has a big "so what" factor and I doubt this alone will do very much towards the SP. Hopefully for SH's, I wil be wrong.
The global CBD beauty category is absolutely tiny. And there is no compelling reason for a CBD brand in that tiny markets. Consumer vote with their wallets. They are not voting for this one - hence that segment of the market is tiny.
The wider beauty category is indeed very big. But they have no right to win, and no right to play there as they have no brand, nothing unique and no marketing dollars.
Common sense, like Elvis, seems to have left the building
I hear you and understand where you are coming. The general CBD trend was also why I initially checked out CBX. However, as soon as I understood they focused on beauty, I decided to wait and see. Glad I did, btw, and I feel they are wasting time, valuable resources (paid by shareholders) on trying to create this beauty segment. If people believe that CBD's benefits lie in health and wellness then give that to them. Going against that tide is unwise IMHO and destined to fail. They are simply fishing in the wrong pond (and it's a tiny pond)
Many on here simply don't seem to realise that all the hype about CBD/G is in markets where CBX is not present. CBX plays in beauty, companies like LoveHemp focus on health and well being. CBX hired a CEO from the beauty industry.
So all that these articles like LoveHempy launching in Tesco show, is that CBX is focusing on the wrong market.
I find it odd that these would be good news for SH's
hang on: you guys keep telling me your ingredients are "unique". Even patented according to some. Now you are saying that every manufacturer can provide them. So probably not so "unique" and rather generic (otherwise not every supplier could provide).
I think you are right btw, it's because the ingredients are generic that many suppliers will be able to source these for CBX
Sterling ‘battered’ by dollar after ‘frightening’ forecasts drive the pound closer to parity
https://inews.co.uk/news/business/sterling-battered-by-dollar-after-frightening-forecasts-drive-the-pound-closer-to-parity-1828533
and why is that? Because you can always find many suppliers to get generic ingredients.

They are in the right sector, but a totally different sector. CBX has absolutely nothing to do with medicinal cannabis. Not even the delisted products is in this part of the market. To suggest that CBX will benefit from this is ridiculous. Your ramping hit a new low.
