Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Thanks Victor. If I'm reading this correctly, the European Patent Office has confirmed there is no problem approving PCI-Pal's patent after searching all similar patents? Same as US, UK and Australia.
Is that your understanding Victor?
Thought the results read well. In the current environment that software companies are experiencing, for losses to be better than expected and revenue in line is pretty impressive.
And is it me or is that more confident than they've sounded before on the lawsuit?
Great spot, Victor. I think they must be doing a clean out of some kind. The amount of new hires they have been parading on LinkedIn is bizarre for a PE-owned company only growing 10% per year. They must have let go of a lot and needing to replace them.
Thanks Victor. The more I read about this trial, the more it seems like Sycurio are just being patent trolls. Are they just playing for a possible royalty? It appears they know they are going to lose, and are just trying to obfuscate and drag their feet as much as possible.
As expected, pretty useless initiation from Peel Hunt.
They expect Eckoh to grow only 6.5% over next few years, but expect operating margins to expand from 16.5% to 19.0%. The crux of the thesis is that the market is very underpenetrated, so competitive environment is unimportant as most call centres do not have a PCI solution at this point. They reiterate that the two major competitors are PCIP and Sycurio, but don't talk much about them.
Always nice to see a glowing customer review as a cover story in an industry publication
