Rana et al sold Affectiva at a consideration price of 238SEK so still a bit to go..

And just for more context, Rana and her fellow owners of Afectiva bought by Smarteye are currently about $35m down on the deal.

So that upward trend has a long way to go.

Alcohol detection is several years off getting into car models I expect. Lets focus on DMS/OMS systems first.

OMS is the next step to DMS and I assume alcohol detection is down the line a bit - however SEE seem to have progressed this more than others.

For DMS it seems to be an industry thing to use an NDA.

I think Cipia nor Tobii have stated who they are with - Smarteye apparently have 250+ models won and in terms of SOP - apart from BMW which were announced well after SOP, they have Polestar and Volvo? which they have announced pre SOP but that's all I can remember. So we all seem to be in the same boat.

Remember our contract is with the T1 and if they announce fair enough - but theyll announce it is their own DMS , but again not many can actually state who they have won DMS with.

What is the cost of an accident - depends but if it writes off a truck or kills someone or crashes into several cars , it's sure to be very expensive for the trucking company. So if a large fleet can avoid several accidents a year due to distraction or falling asleep it could be very beneficial for them.

SEE always talk of low churn rate as once installed what company is going to say we dont need it now. There must be plenty of examples the sales staff can use and perhaps even allow fleets a trial on a small number of trucks to test it out and see what the potential events avioded could be.

So it may be a large trucking company has to consider - take the monitoring or take the risk of not taking it?

ITV was in the 90p's when he called it a screaming buy, fell into the 80's and he couldnt believe it so bought heavily, fell into the 70's topped up again and in the 60's couldnt believe his luck.

Its in the 50's now.... So he's keen to share his knowledge🤣

This year there are 4 oem programs at SOP (I may have mentioned it).

Now we have been told numerous times snd its been discussed here that the values are based on Minimum Contacted numbers at the time the agreement was made and RNS'd accordingly.

All 4 were in 2022.. ish( ok VW one was Dec 2021).

The RNS'd value of said minimum contracts was about $142m USD.

So this year is the start of a pipeline of $142m spread out over.... 5-7 years? I use a range because we tend to talk of 5 and Seye tend to use 7. Either way it begins this year.

Of course we cant crudely divide $142m by 5 or 7 but it starts this year. This is high margin 90%+ money flowing in and repeated yearly for several years.

This income has to be seen in relation to existing programs which are on going which started over the past 2 years inc Ford, BMW, Merc and GM. These current ones will if course runs for several more years. And the waves of income continue...

Then we've a new program starting 2025 and 2 in 2026 to add to the mix.

Whats needed are wins to SOP 2026 onwards to continue the momentum. I expect we'll find these coming in due course.

lets see what happens since pretty much the ramp up from now is cash.

Seems people have forgotton that the US strikes may have impacted this Q2 numbers when looking for growth from previous quarters.

So with FOUR oem programs going to SOP 2024, the biggest of which has started already, the next few quarters cars on the road will be very interesting and show the progress....
