Terrym, I did ask the company about the 5 or 6 issue. I've had it confirmed that what Nick was referring to was 6 Tier1s whom he considered as direct customers. At that stage we had 5 OEMs won with 6 Tier1's.

I expect it was only a matter of time when opposition started to mobilise against the inevitability of AV introduction.

WHY ARE PEOPLE SURPRISED THAT ANOTHER EYE TRACKING COMPANY ARE WORKING WITH OTHERS ? This is initially to do with helicopter pilot training - not - it is being put into every helicopter in the world. Apparently SEYE are also working with NASA as well. SEE WONT GET ALL THE WORK ON N THE WORLD - THEY COULDNT COPE To summarise - and I am NOT saying SEE will be in all of these but there are links out there.... Australian Air Force, Emirates, Qantas, Fedex Express, lufthansa (includes Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings), Several Air Traffic Control providers Worldwide, Several Aircraft Manufacturers Worldwide (example Boeing) Several Other OEMs worldwide. Several contracts due to be finalised and announced - as per SEE indication in the next several months. I am not aware of SEYE having announced any large Aviation contracts - apart from saying they are part of a project so far or they have hired out their test kit to some people.

A few changes - fleet is now a box - too much going on to make sense really.

As always this is just an opinion and no doubt will change by xmas - print it out and tippex out the bits you don't agree.

PM - there was an uncrossing trade UT went through at 4.90 which messed everything up. Once a normal trade went through (see HL) it sorted it out.

sgreen - yes that was the plan I believe.

The only thing i was thinking about was that DMS itself will by 2020/21 start to be installed in a lot of OEM premium production cars and in the non premium brands. There will be different versions of DMS depending on what it will be linked to. Supercruise is the most extreme linkage as it is hands free driving and if the driver keels over the car has to bring itself to a stop safely which requires a lot of ADAS interaction.

So could GM decouple DMS from Supercruise and sell it as a extra "safety" feature for other cheaper models for a few hundred dollars - possibly. Speculation but if the likes of Ford, VW etc start giving it away in mass production cars - a premium car that doesn't wont look great. Only a thought of course.

Hyms - I think Bosch are in the mix for the other bits apart from DMS.

GM had to sort out what models they were to be producing - now they have they have to decide what goes into them. DMS will be a standard going forward IMO

Esco - it does coincide with the rollout to all GM cars - initially it was to be all Cadillac versions but with Ncap and all competitors rolling out DMS we would be expectiing GM to get it in to all their models asap.

GM are cutting the number of cars produced in USA - with low selling models being stopped.

Most car OEMs will be going through this process as the shift to Crossovers and economics come in to play. Along with other reasons I expect this is also holding up declaration of OEM wins for DMS etc as they have to decide what cars they are building first.

I would take SEYE attendance with partners in their "Partner booth" comments with a pinch of salt.

Like SEE they do not appear on the CES list of exhibitors so presumably are doing something with the list of "partners" that they have stated or just using a bit of the real estate.

Autoliv are attending with demo's of the car presumably and interestingly Aptiv are attending but SEYE have not claimed them as a "Partner".

LOL. Fair enough Baxt, Maps is probably right, it helps us all know why we are here.

Now Baxt, of course people are concerned about a falling SP and some quite rightly point out the failings of the company for balance. But not everyone is crying like they got ***** slapped by a Gen1. Or could be Gen3 by now. Have a good weekend and remember keep your head down and follow through!!
