S7, cant argue with that, I don't day trade as I'd be crap at it and my view is - well I was going to say long term but really it's medium term now. I have no doubt your ISA will do very well in the medium term.

Agree shallwe, possibly 6 OEM decisions by end June and 3/4 more by end Dec 2019 (auto alone).

Based on the Cenkos analysis even the contracts we have are VASTLY understated. I can't get over the Ford deal which is for A$50M over the lifetime of the contract they said is only for about 3% of Fords expected output.

Must be very difficult to day trade this - MMs playing it like a standard AIM share.
Cant sell 500 shares so they drop the bid and then you can sell 500,000.

Take a longer view or stress yourself out watching the SP on an hourly (or less) basis. If you don't believe 2020 onwards is the target, you might not make it that long to reap the benefits of your investments.

If SEE are intending to invest heavily to win market share then yes there may be a fund raise this year.

The last big fund raise moved the SP higher. It was a combination of Private Investors - very small amount, and Institutional Investors. Both were oversubscribed.

The paragraph on mining and rail is interesting.
It almost reads like CAT who I believe manufacture the kit for mining and off-road may be tasked with manufacturing equipment for Rail as well. I know CAT own Prgress Rail but I assumed that SEE would produce the kit for rail.

Sounds like a farm out of production for rail kit going forward.

Bax, I have always said 2020 is the key and am still of that opinion. I will re-assess my investment probably mid-late 2020 and see where we are. In the meantime I will top up a small amount each month until then. I do get the frustration of all on this BB.

There is no disconnect between the MCap and where we are - there is a massive disconnect between the MCap and the potential - the Auto summary for me is significant.

The potential is huge - lets see where it takes us. Of course I would not rule out a fund raise but "Good Days" it could be June it could be July it could be Aug - why not say every month - gotta be right sometime!

All in my opinion of course.

Auto summary:

- Before end June 2019 possibly 6 decisions made and in some of these we are in multiple bids.

- Before the end of Dec 2019 another 3 or 4 decisions to be made.

- Signed up another one of the largest global Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers

- Second major OEM program (Germany - Presumed Merc) production launch within the next 14 months.

- Third OEM program (Germany - Presumed BMW) volume launch in mid 2021.

- The fourth (North America - Presumed Ford) FOVIO chip orders expected within the next 12 months.

- Fifth OEM (China - Presumed Byton) FOVIO chip orders expected within the next 12 months.

- Industry commentators* anticipate that more than 60% of all light vehicles produced globally will include driver monitoring DMS by 2025. The Board expects to achieve a SIGNIFICANT SHARE OF THIS MARKET (my caps)

WHY???
1. given the limited competition in DMS technology
2 the quality of Seeing Machines' technology, our established market position
3.the formal agreements in place with leading Tier 1 suppliers.

Fonz, re Bosch. They have long been a "partner" and have appeared as such on the website and demo's at previous CES events. But nothing has ever come from this work in terms of business. Perhaps SEE have got fed up with them and are focussed on others who could provide contracts? Only an opinion.

Phil I do think it is worthy of an RNS - yes it's not 1,000s of units but it is a significant step forward in the adoption of SEE tech in this area.

I think it's becoming clearer that the contract estimates given by SEE for the signed contracts are on the low side. At the time for the models given and without the knowledge of how the legislation/5stars was coming then they probably were fair enough.

As an example BMW was stated as A$25M which is about US$18M based on the lifetime of the models.

If you take 5 years as the lifetime value (may be more) then according to the $18M it works out about $3.6M a year.

IF the value per unit is $30 then it suggests 120,000 cars sold per year with SEE DMS in it.

Considering BMW sell 2M cars a year (2017 value) the 120,000 looks very much on the light side.

Back 6/9 months ago it dawned on any company that had a camera that DMS would be massive. So they all suddenly became DMS suppliers. OEMs know what is what. SEE is well placed to get a chunk of the business as a first mover. This year will tell us how much. Losing some OEMs will happen but we cant cope so cherry pick what we want.

Looks likr EVs are coming big time. I had posted that GM plan to have 20 models out by 2023. This article suggests quick introduction. (GM says it's on track to deliver 10 NEV models by 2020 and plans to double that number over the following three years.) And Seeing2020 if electriic cars are the future GM announced that Cadillac will become GM's main electric-vehicle brand. They plan to introduce 20 new electrified cars by 2023.
