The Hansen report quoted Kevin saying that one of the German Prem OEMs would be out in 2019. this was confusing as the Merc RNS stated 2020. I had changed the chart at the time to reflect the possible change in launch date.

The fovio chip was always planned - it was not as a consequence of not spinning out.

Our first Fovio chip contract is in 2019 - remember there was an RNS about it?

Is the SEYE announcement today really a FOVIO fpga equivalent or is it an SoC style that they have already?

And as for SEYE even getting an automotive grade chip to market by 2020 not withstanding OEMs would need to assess it's viability (assuming it was autograde quality) is just laughable.

I'm not expecting any contract disclosures at CES from SEE. We can only RNS information when a T1 gets an OEM contract as that is the way the system works at present.NDA's and all that. My opinion is that we will get contract wins over the next few months as things start to ramp up.

What I did find very interesting is the addition of NUANCE to the Veoneer LIV3.

SEYE made a major deal of them working with Nuance back in August but now Veoneer have installed their tech on top of SEE DMS thus SEE and Nuance have worked on integrating both technologies together.

I would assume that these OEMs (at least the ones we know are going with SEE) will want to continue using the Nuance technology as well as SEE tech in their models going forward and the LIV3 proof of concept and demonstrations will show they will be a good fit. After all if SEYE tech can integrate into Nuance then SEE tech can and is now being proven to.

So we know that SEE and L3 are connected and the new Qantas facility opening next June will get the first FFS with integrated SEE tech. It seems that the OEMs (in this case Qantas) want the kit and ask you to work with their preferred supplier. L3 supplied 20% of the approx 1300 civil aviation installed FFS as of 2018. The biggest supplier of installed FFS are CAE who supplied 56%. It would be nice if SEE had some connection to CAE? We know SEE are working with Emirates, Fedex Express and IMO Lufthansa. Emirates FFSs are CAE. Fedex are mostly CAE with some L3. Lufthansa are mostly CAE with some L3. It would be nice if these OEMs said to their supplier to work with SEE. Perhaps they already have and either L3 or CAE will be supplying all new kit with SEE tech? We expect more news on the aviation front this year......
