I don't think they're saving it up, it's just it's all queued up and dependant on sale and kazack authorities. They sure need to speed up their government processes if they aspire to exploit their oil, gas, mineral resources further. Doing business seems very slow.

So, why wouldn't you want to update the market as to not meeting the date. Why wouldn't you have prepared a statement and new date if there is one. Why wouldn't you have prepared a small operational update, perhaps on the potential new acquisition.

one week to go for the expiry of (the last ?) long stop date. still could drop today, ink on paper and off to bar for a few ****tails....or a few more days to line up bankers and lawyers and government officials.

Could happen any day, the last extension was a shorter one so they must feel they are close, and the negotiation for interest in the new field was out of the blue and quite expediant.

The post may drop any time so keep an eye out for intradays....

So option c then. All proceeding buy at a snail's pace due to kaz authorities.

Sounds positive on the financial investment route fir the deeps. A5 mentioned again and mention of a potential purchase of an existing oil field with substantial reserves.

No mention of the mining venture.

Bopd frpm shallows mentioned.

Well all in all things as planned but hold-up with authorities. Set your diary notifications up.

Now, what might this new field be.......

Well they missed the deadline but either

A) they are so close in finalising that holding off announcing anything for a couple of days is sensible

B) they are not close but a new stop date hasn't yet been agreed so that would be announced Monday hopefully

C) Difficulties in getting sign-off from government and awaiting communication from them.

I favour option a because I'm an optimistic and also i think the announcement of a conditional investment for the deeps was rushed out quickly before the sign-off, although this may take some time to finalise. They wanted to get foot in the door quickly and to shape out the likely distribute of sale funds.

So, Monday or next week it is lol, good luck all.
