Yup maritime tracking and recent satelite images seem to confirm. A day or two and images should be refreshed but we will get an update shortly anyway which will give the current status but meter still running one would assume....

It's another tick in the box with "doing what they say they'll do". West Shalva is now lined up withpermits for land access, environmental permits around the site with coords and plan and now the tender with result for the 4M £ drill. The sale is going through, CE is still doing its stuff for the NCOC so is a good sign. In the absence of comms, it is good to see progress.

Well yes of course Jimmy, hopefully with more cash, a better rig and some capacity to not be distracted with workovers they can pursue all fronts. Fingers crossed, not long now.

Always lots of noise regarding copper, and there are lots of new opportunities and evaluation sites in kaz sprung up. But this caught my eye in the article...

"The country wants to gain market share in battery materials such as lithium, cobalt, manganese, nickel and graphite amid rising demand for the materials, Sharlapayev said.

Kazakhstan already mines manganese, but last year it launched processing of manganese sulphate and aims to eventually capture 10% of the global market for the battery material."

There are already some big players already in zinc, nickel and chromium. But the rest ? A growth area ?

Just needs Alex to "do" and convert the permit for exploration into a permit for production!

He's built a great tech team but does he have the business head to convert the opportunity. I'm not seeing that promise coming through at the moment.

Well copper is certainly going to be in demand with energy transition and some hot prospects in kaz and mineral rules opened out circa 2019 to be more conducive to investment. Not sure about gold prospects and zinc and iron seems pretty much sewn up with major government players. Uranium, in demand but I suspect a little too much regulation and specialised. I wouldn't rule out some of the more common commodities that are in demand and could provide a necessary regular and steady income stream. Looking at their environmental impact statements for drilling and hazardous by-products, they already have experience in handling them. Open pit sounds most likely, so it's going to be stuff just at surface and in abundance I bet.

I wonder if the website will be updated with any new strategy seeing as there are likely to be some new directions of travel once they receive their war chest.

Mineral commodities going to be quite in demand over the coming years and kaz has an abundance of some under exploited metals.

Is that just a guess, or based on something ? That gives a market cap of 12.5M

I was concerned that the voting resolutions were going to hide some additional items as the circular hadn't gone out but no, all was okay. Awaiting the cash seems plausible. In any case, it doesn't change things.

Strange nothing from CE yet, not even a blip on the maritime map yet. Must be still drilling....kerching..

And nothing seems to be moving around the west shalva area yet, but I'm sure that won't be much longer. A strike here would set a really positiveness as would an announcement of a new charter.

Oh well, sit and wait and wait....

Well we certainly wait. I suppose the positive is that if there was no deal on the table then there would be more publicity about the opportunities with verkuba.
