Good points CC, but rarely do share buybacks do much unless they are sustained and translate into higher earning per share over time. And they can mask some things such as elevating options returns and overall percentage ownership. Not suggesting any of that bit swings and roundabouts.
In light of difficult trading positions, cash in hand etc. I think if the business model is "good", retaing and investing in the company is always a good move and especially when you look at the difficulties of the past few years. However, this is all blown apart when or if they strike the deeps, and maybe this is the moment. We are always in the brontisaurus tail of what the head thinks and does. Not a problem as kuat has a good business head, but always aware of that.
