It will probably be a bit of a mix, special divi, share buyback and investment in additional assets, they did mention mining and I'm sure if there are other fields of interest they might have a gander.

I thought share buybacks were open market purchases and as for premium price surely that's only 105% mid price of 5 days trading.

Seems odd to do some dilution to buy assets only to sell some assets and reverse this dilution.

As for special dividend, its a one off reward, good for getting some cash out but overall unlikely to substantially increase share value long term.

Long term value creation through sustained increases in share price (possibly buybacks on a continuous basis longterm), or regular dividends ( which they won't do) or increasing number or efficiency of productive assets through further investment of cash.

So I'm kinda confused and the options they have for the next year are all possible.
