I'm seeing news that Sanjeev Gupta wants to make green steel - using hydrogen. I'm not seeing us (ITM) mentioned, however there may be links or merely this is seen as another good reason to be invested in a hydrogen company.

doesn't mention hydrogen, but hard to see how it can't be, plus shell is involved so this looks good for companies with good ties to shell (us)

A man with morals not just money lol! I agree that it should be green h2 don’t get me wrong but we need a greater uptake of h2 no matter what if we are going to succeed here. H2 isn’t frontline because it’s not happening yet, Jim can see there has to be a shift away from diesel and petrol just don’t expect anything too soon

Yes I also read it as good for hydrogen in the long run as the article says ineos produce a shed ton of it already and selling the vehicle and the fuel to power it is a dream business model - especially if you can secure a large market share of the hydrogen fuel market. It will be interesting to see what their refueling concept is, would have thought something along the standard model of transporting the hydrogen to the pump rather than generating it on site. Would have thought this would generate a nice bit of competition between them and shell

Mate I feel for you there, you and a LOT of other people got let down by some unfortunate circumstances. My thought is they went too big too fast and relied on funding that wasn’t guaranteed and a lot of funding for that matter. Who knows it could still come good, I think the appetite for the mine is there but not on the current scale at this current time. I’m tempted to take a punt at those prices but not for much and if it does go to pot then it’s not much wasted and if it does multi bag then nice for me and everybody else for that matter!
