GROSS DEBT (Overdafts, loans & borrowings) falling from £9.6 million via 9.1, 8.6, 7.6 to £7.3 million. *
NET DEBT (deducting cash & deferred consideration balances) falling from £9.4 million via 8.8, 8.1, 7.2 to £6.8 million. *
RESIDUAL WORKING CAPITAL ASSETS (Other current assets less other current liabilities) falling from £2.5 million via 1.6, 2.1, 1.5 to £1.4 million. *
In the first year of the 2 year period there were disposal proceeds of £796K and zero in the second year. *

Over the past 2 years net debt has been reduced by 14p a share to 37p ... 6p of the reduction was achieved by transferring debt to other forms of working capital (taxman, suppliers, reduced inventory etc) ... 4p of the reduction was attributable to disposal proceeds in year one ... and of the remaining 4p, nearly 3p was achieved by business operations in the year to 30/09/12 (IMO).
