Nothing got through and if 5 x 5 m share orders had indeed been placed in the morning, at the very least one of them would have been processed and shown on the log of trades of today by now. None has.

So it appears that Lister D is indeed not to be believed. And apart from the 1.5m at 1.31pm yesterday, the buys of yesterday PM might have been from people he's led along the garden path...

Let's see if anything is announced before the 27 February.

Taking into account the fair comment from bradis, I'm posting this to correct my earlier statement, and I'll wait till 5.30pm (to account for late trades) for those 5 x 5m, IF true, to materialise...

I'd still have expected to see some of those 5m share trades by now though, but still, 5m vs 1m is much harder to shift and let's see if they materialise at the end of today.

Looks like those Twitter claims have reached their limit of credibility.

TA (look at bonker99 charts) suggests a rebound to 8p, I think ma5k's charts IIRC suggests it will go back to down to the low 3s...

The business is soundly managed, but I doubt that the next set of financials will show an improvement in the profits as these guys play the long game.

Never have I claimed it was a good investment rationale - and I made explicitly clear in several of my posts that my purchase (and hold) decisions for AST had nothing to do with Lister's tweets.

Allrc - your guess is as good as anyone’s. He allegedly made accurate “predictions” for other shares, and his claims of substantial buys for yesterday PM turned out true. However, if the permits were supposedly awarded last Wednesday, and reconfirmed Thursday (if I read his tweets correctly), why haven’t they been announced by RNS yet!?!?

The closure would be primarily due to the higher cost of importing parts from mainland Europe. So another car manufacturer is likely to encounter the same problems, unless it knows that the parts would come directly from a non-EU country...

I believe him at 51% regarding the permits now... but it hasn't changed my position about Ascent and I bought everything I own in AST up until November 2018 anyway.

I wish - at least I'd know if whatever he claims is really true or not!

Although this is definitely not evidence that Lister D and I have no connection, you'll notice I've had no apparent involvement with any of the other shares that Lister D has tweeted about.

Now Daniel Lister claims that a syndicate in Oman is buying shares in Ascent today too...

He's digging himself in deeper - whether he has been telling the truth all along or whether he's BSitting (except for the 1.5m buy of this PM that looks fully legit IMO), it is certainly going to be epic!

Darn right. You have to be ready to wait forever from weeks to years literally and sell at a second's notice and buy back again when it's reached clear lows.
Mining shares are a nightmare.

Or at the very least, he expects the bid to rise to 1.36p minimum to re-sell that tranche at a profit! ;-)
