Out of the 20-30 or so AIM and small cap shares with placings that I've been involved in, EVERY ONE of them saw its SP drop to the level of the placing price within 2 weeks max. Without fail.

PIs with any experience know that. so do the odd IIs that gamble their money in AIM. So everyone sells in the hope to buy back in at the placing price.

MMs don't need to deliberately drop the bid, existing holders make it happen for the MMs by selling en masse.

Hence my earlier comment today about the OO being almost certainly a token gesture.

It's just because a (independent / self-appointed?) journalist in Slovenia said that the upcoming appointment of the new permament director of Arso is with a view to her signing the restim permit.

(Pozar is the same surname of that journalist, I can't recall the links to his article, but it can be found on Twitter easily.)

But hopefuly PIs or manipulators have extrapolated her appointment as being = the award of the permits.

It's wishful thinking, we just don't know.

No gap in the 1s that I can see - I think it started trading at around 1. The only old gap I can see (21 22 Dec 2016) was at 3.4-3.8 approx, and it was effectively filled last week.

The OO looked very much a like a box ticking exercise. It amounted to saying:
"We still respect you PIs, and it's not just IIs that have the opportunity to buy shares at a [then] discounted price, you too can get exactly the same offer."

Only an absolute AIM / small cap virgin or a total idiot would not know that the SP would almost certainly drop to the placing price within a week, so that OO would almost not be subscribed to by any genuine PIs (i.e. not counting anyone who had made advance deals with Angs / its broker).

So I'm almost certain that this was just a token gesture by Angs to do that OO, I don't think they were expecting any genuine PIs to be interested.

Last year's water cock-up has certainly damaged the trust in Jonathan T's ability to deliver.

Considering that he's set up Angus, from what I understand, he is certainly aware that he cannot afford to mess up again or it's all over for him.

I highly doubt that there is anything sinister behind the statement that the team is now reviewing the results (of the water isolation work?) with the partners of Angus.

But until we get concrete results for the next stages (and ultimately, the flow test results), we can only speculate... ...and traders exploit that uncertainty.

Dcrossland - the time logged is the time when the trade was executed. What we cannot know is when the trade was initially ordered.

That RNS is better than nothing.
However, extending the agreement costs INA nothing. And another 6 month extension isn’t much of a commitment either.
I’m waiting for that restim permit like everyone else.

stockdale - there are different levels of premium membership, one of which does not even include live prices (like mine: I only have PMs enabled, I use more reliable providers for live prices + log of trades).

With so many large buys apparently logged (at 0.40p), the advertised SP should have shot up.

I wonder if it's MMs who have actually raised the bid at 0.40p as well.

I witnessed the same thing with NUOG in Feb/March 2018 (if I recall correctly) after the collapse of Beaufort Securities, NUOG's then Nomad, just after NUOG had announced a placing. You could then sell hundreds of k shares at the same price as that of the ask...

Anyone has had similar experiences?

I'm trading both on the basis of the underlying business AND technical analysis. I agree with you re: the nervous PIs and rumours, but if they have an impact on the direction of the SP, I cannot ignore them. Nonetheless, I'm still 100% in for now, but will look closely at the SP tomorrow....

Washers - sorry for taking you literally, but you'd be amazed at how often I see posters taking such codes seriously and spout cr@p about what RNS they expect...
