There is nothing specific to EVR that caused a sell off, all stocks with perceived Russian connections have been affected plus being dropped from ftse 100 will give cause for some ii’s to remove their investment.

We can only wait for TR1’s to see what the changes in holdings have been.

Across key stocks with Russian connections, recovery is taking place, and even without the divi EVR represents excellent value.

The business is well placed to weather the storm, and will recover. Anyone investing now will be well placed to gain rewards, it’s just a question of being patient.

There are people investing now that want a quick buck, or my take the divi and run, that’s fine. Others will invest in any price drop.

Nothing has changed with fundamentals, at least they haven’t as I write this.! So appreciating risk, reward here for anyone buying now is huge, and don’t forget there are a lot of long term holders that remain and wait for the recovery.

Whilst there is some risk, and question marks over future divi payments and even the one due this month, the make up and fundamentals of the company are extremely robust and clue is gradually being restored in the SP.
Individually investors can make there choices on strategy as to whether they hold long or sell short term, each to their own and that’s absolutely fine.

And actually it’s positive in a way as it promotes the dividends that have been paid, and the forecast before any talk of invasion was for EVR to have the highest dividend yield from a London listed business this year.

The LSE allows anyone to invest, it’s open and transparent, although it is abused by shorters etc.

These Russians have done nothing wrong in acquiring wealth, and if there were to be sanctions against them it would need to be proved.

Sanctions against EVR just because 3 Russians received the same dividend as anybody else per share is not fair game in my view.

The key worry is actually establishing peace to ensure minimal people are killed and Ukrainians can live in peace and Russians are not forced to live a life of misery under Putin’s tyranny.

As for this business, the share price etc, it will recover and value will be restored. This was a marque share to own, and it will be again, and no doubt a return to the FTSE 100 is inevitable.

Current price is an absolute gift, regardless of whether the dividend is paid or not, and I believe this one will be. Future dividends may have to be put on hold but that’s dependent on trading financials.

Too many people on here want a quick buck, and worry too much whether they will get it next week or get the dividend at end of March. If you research the fundamentals, understand the business, it really deserves more respect and so do the LTH’s that have been here a while now.

If it is suspended, wait for it to be relisted post suspension.

I really do believe as a U.K. registered business, that’s global, it will not be suspended.

Until a RNS states the demerger is not happening, it is still most definitely happening, and there zilch to suggest it is not happening.

Demerger is going ahead as planned.
No idea what price will be on the bell as there was a lot of people exiting for the weekend to keep money safe that will buy back in.

I believe a large sell went through.

Price in US is tracking between 80 and 90p. If that holds we will open there or thereabouts, maybe higher.

All looks good for a continued recovery.

This is a global company with listings on several exchanges and has its headquarters in the U.K.

Profits are insane and the fundamentals extremely robust.
The dividend is accounted for.
Absolutely no reason to hold back the divi payment.
Future divis may be reviewed.
This is a high profile and globally respected business, not the high risk that people claim it is.
I would be very surprised if there was a change to this divi payment.

If US closes high, it could open Monday £1 plus, and with divi day approaching, may keep recovering.
