RE: So what's the first news going to be16 Jul 2020 09:03
MB, the U.K. government contract could be a real catalyst for business growth globally as it will alert other countries with the faith our government has in the product. I just wonder with your point in the margins, did I recall CK saying something about doing things morally given the circumstances, maybe thinking of something that else but it may rationalise the difference in margins. Just some news would be good.
Was hoping for a bit of news to boost things last night. It was a good informative presentation, but only clarified what was knowledge already. Until further news of milestones achieved, I cannot see the SP moving too much.
With a population approaching 1.5 billion, it’s fair to say even if they make their own, and even if it is a similar standard, the demand is likely to be far higher than an individual supplier can provide. Therefore this market alone presents immense opportunity for Omega to max out production/supply.
RE: CK killing it today :) All good - ODX going places15 Jul 2020 16:58
It always was, nice bit of gloss with some extra insight too. Too many posters have posted without research, so hopefully this presentation makes it crystal clear the potential and timeframe of where Omega are heading. So much for loss of sentiment.....
Dennge fever is unique to you. Symptoms are posted ridiculous statements and generally being an ar*e. Have fun, but you really are of no interest to me or probably to any sensible person on this board.
Roxbury, You are of course entitled to your opinion, which seems based on your experience of going for a run. I hope you do not mind saying that your conclusions based on that experience are some what weak. Covid is global, and tests being produced by Omega are for a global market. It’s best to research and see what is happening in Africa and Asia, as well as the likelihood of second wave here. This morning I heard predictions of 120,000 Covid related deaths in the U.K. between nov 2020 and June2021. If you believe in your business analysis based form your experience having a jog, that’s entirely up to you. I just hope you understand why I cannot support your view.
Denn, no disrespect, but you are clearly struggling with reality. The performance of NYCT has been phenomenal this year. If you were an investor in February/March you will have realised substantial returns. The Problem for anyone looking to invest in NYCT today is it has plateaued and the business is not offering much potential.
This is nothing to do with sentiment, it is the reality of the business itself.
Compare that to where Omega currently is positioned, and the strategy of product development in to numerous markets, and you would conclude that Omega have far more growth potential than Novacyt.
Nothing has fundamentally changed15 Jul 2020 09:38
I am not one for starting threads, but reading the various messages and opinions I just wanted to state the clear and unequivocal stance from the business, as stated by Colin King.
That is “nothing has fundamentally changed” in terms of affecting the SP.
When you analyse and research from a business perspective, Omega are in an incredibly strong position and are about to have an excellent and exciting year ahead. This is such a huge opportunity that should bring profitable returns for business and reward for shareholders.
It is therefore no good looking for the pot of gold today or tomorrow, it is a 6 to 12 month journey minimum.
I believe if you have invested here for immediate return you will be filled with disappointment, and it’s no good posting negative messages about lack of return, that’s the reality of your strategy.
Hold, research and follow the business strategy, and your expectation of return will be in tune with the business.
