I said some months ago that this was headed towards 0.5p. I wouldn't be surprised if it breaches the level, as there is just no appetite for POW at the moment by the looks of it. Needs that discovery to land....

None of us are privy to the facts, so we can't really make those kinds of comments. The Rig repair is a live and developing situation. What the understanding was 3 weeks ago might have changed since then. For example, we don't know IF they have had to order further work, or parts from abroad, as a direct result of the specialist engineer's recent arrival and input. IF something like that has happened - which is entirely possible - then of course He1 might not know the exact timescales involved because they might still be in the process of establishing all that.

Also, we are focussing very much on the timeline with the Rig, but there's also all the other components that need to come together in order for them to start drilling again, and again, they might be working on those aspects as well.

Bottom line is, as often has happened with this share, in the absence of them updating us, you can fill the void with positive or negative explanations, with criticisms or understanding and patience.

I also made the point that the hydraulics engineer had not arrived at site when this interview was given. We don't know whether this engineer will be requiring additional parts, and so again, we can't say what the timescale is for all necessary parts arriving at site. A perfectly reasonable doubt, until He1 update us otherwise/further. All imo

LB was asked at the end of the interview what the timeline was for repairing the Rig. Her answer was very clear in that she said the following:

1) The timescale for parts was 2 - 3 weeks.

2) Whilst some parts had already been ordered, others parts had NOT been ordered. For example, she said: "We are also ordering some new hydraulics parts and spare parts..." (6:37) & "we do envisage a two - three week window between placing those orders and... arriving on site." (6:50 to 7:05).

Therefore, I made the point that we don't know when the last of these parts will have been ordered AFTER that interview, and hence whether the 2-3 week timescale had already commenced. That's just my take on it.

Personally, I do think tweets can help in certain circumstances. This feels like one of those situations.

If they are gearing up to resume drilling at Itumbula, and just waiting on the Rig parts/repair before they can do that, then why can't they, or aren't they, at least tweeting from the site with all the prep work that will necessarily be going on right now if they are about to drill, just like they were doing during Tai 3. They can't be oblivious to market sentiment and the share price low? It's the absence of tweets as much as the absence of RNS that is disconcerting. Maybe they don't want to mislead with tweets, but then if they are definitely going to be drilling in December, what's the harm in indicating this through showing the prep work at Itumbula? All imo

In this market, you need the actual discovery (or close to) in order to create the fomo/sentiment, which drives the share price. Otherwise, it's just placings in between different types of guff news flow. Investor's know this and aren't going to get caught up in it, in sufficient numbers to create a rise in the share price.

POW isn't close to giving us a commercial discovery? I don't believe any of the IPOs are either, although I haven't followed them as closely and might be wrong?

And that's the bottom line right now in this market. No amount of conferences is going to change that and they are also guff. All imo and dyor

How the heck would I know, or anyone else on here? That's for He1 to confirm. All I am saying is that going by that interview, they were still in the process of ordering parts, so it's not clear whether this 2-3 weeks that some have been working from had even started.

In terms of my personal speculation, I'm not expecting them to resume drilling before the AGM at the earliest. Not only down to the Rig timeline, but also because, as I have said before, I suspect they see Itumbula as the "opportune" time to do the next fund raise.

RJ - that wasn't aimed at you btw, and crossed with your post, but if you care to listen to the interview again, the 2 -3 weeks didn't commence on 16th November, and hadn't commenced by the time she gave that interview either, because she was clearly saying that they were in the process of ordering parts. That's my interpretation anyway....

She was clear in the interview, that as of the date of the interview, they were STILL in the PROCESS of ordering parts, not that they had already ordered them. Once ordered, she envisaged a 2-3 week timescale from point of order of those parts to arrival on site. You would imagine that the hydraulics specialist who has been mobilised might also have a role to play in assessing what parts are needed as well?

So we can't be sure that the 2-3 weeks has even commenced, because we don't know if they have ordered the last of the parts they need, and if they have, when the placed the order.

Overall - left bemused at how rampers ever concluded that they will be drilling again in a matter of days?

When will you take some ownership of your own extremely poor decision making and beliefs about He1, instead of calling out others. Your time would be much better spent with some self reflection and self-appraisal, but one suspects that ego of yours simply won't allow it.

No, this is about making an assessment of the overall situation. At the moment, I'm not feeling overly confident or convinced that they are about to announce an imminent drilling programme at Itumbula. The complete absence of the customary tweets you get in that kind of scenario just adds to this negative feeling. All imo

Yes, it's definitely about the next 6 months here. We should have initial results from Zim and Karakubis within this period. It's a good time to be in gold and copper, and not many juniors have good quality projects for both.

It’s difficult to comprehend the viewpoint on here that He1 will be drilling again soon, yet hardly anyone is buying the shares, even though they are at all time lows? No tweets from Itumbula either to show they are gearing up for drilling.

It all rather suggests that drilling is off for now. And if they do decide to return next year, then it increases the concern of a placing before then as they will have increased costs.

So will it be a rainy Friday RNS or a sunny Monday RNS coming up here?
