Anyway, managed to grab a few more today below 4p. Think a breakout to 5p is imminent.

This is totally illogical and surprisingly ignorant for such a platform. Assuming they are even correct, pump and dump using social media IS the world we live in. Do they not read the LSE message boards. How are they even policing all this and ensuring consistency of approach? They can't be as its impossible to do so. Their reasons must surely apply equally to dozens of shares that they are allowing online trading in.

Also, how does asking a few questions over the telephone get around the problem? They are basically saying this:

1) Anyone who doesn't call gets protected from buying a pump and dump.

2) Anyone who does call and answers a few basic questions is allowed to buy the pump and dump - and pay us an additional fee in the process.

The mind boggles

Not a fan of TW at all, but he did cause a lot of damage to GEX last year when he first started attacking it. So whilst he might have his own reasons for attacking the company, it does harm sentiment, or at least has done in the past.

Hamilton needs to come out tomorrow and dispel the rumours of running out of cash. The AFR said they had 0.43m in cash at the end of May 2025. So important for him to confirm and clarify what the funding situation is.

WSBN is a great share for trading - it has shown that many times in the past. You would think that at some point its allure would run out, but it doesn't. It's running purely as a nearology play for Havieron and so far has been a bit of a rinse and repeat exercise around placings and newsflow. It's BOD is a bit dubious imho. But you can't knock a share that often gives triple digit returns like WSBN does. I was very close to pulling the trigger on it this time round, but didn't.

OMI is a different company all together and less of a pump and dump. It can also make those triple digit returns and has a bit more credibility in terms of its projects imho. If you're running a quick race then you go for WSBN, but OMI probably wins over a longer timeframe.

Seingred - I think it's you that is twisting things here. I know how that comment was meant. Anyone who cares can scroll back and see that at the relevant time, you were talking down OMI, talking yourself up as usual in the process, and kept on mentioning the placing. You also announced that - because you like to boast/declare your trades - that you were in WSBN. Subsequently a placing landed in WSBN. It was in THAT context that I made the comment - obviously!

They will not be ordering long lead items or hiring a Rig until after they have the permit. There can only really be two reasons for this imho: 1) lack of confidence over drilling permit, or 2) they don't have the cash. If they were cashed up - which the AFR confirms they are not - they would have ordered the long lead items already, like HE1 did when they were at the same stage.

Let's see what Hamilton says tomorrow. He must be aware that the market is fearing a raise, and so if there are no plans for one, he can simply say "fully funded". Remember, this is the same Hamilton who said "fully funded" in virtually every interview he did in 2024. All imo and dyor.

I thought there was a proposal to have a 5k British only ISA allowance. Would still rule out a lot of AIM companies that are registered abroad.

By the time they resolve all this, as I'm sure they will, all the cheaper shares will have been taken up by those that can buy. That is an unfair situation.

But for those that can, an extra incentive to get in before the herd arrives so to speak once the problems are resolved.

Well if they are planning a low ball takeover, then you might think that they are going about it the right way - i.e. inconsistent production, slow down progress, do very little publicity and bring down the share price. You also have the creditor in the background which adds its own risk.

I guess all will be revealed with the next gold pour - if it doesn't show much of an increase, then the conspiracy theories get more fuel, but if they announce what is expected, then such concerns can be put to bed. All imo and dyor

Another bit of fakery from our resident hindsight trading guru - Seingred. My comment about the WSBN placing was in the context of you being negative about OMI for the same reason. Far from looking down on WSBN, I was actually very close to taking a position in it myself, as it's always been a good trading share. The only reason I didn't was a combination of waiting to see if it would fall back to the placing price (it didn't) and then not wanting to chase because of fomo!

What a joke - being overly paternalistic and patronising at the same time. They should NOT be restricting nor policing their customers in this way. What next - sorry you can't buy this stock because it operates in a country that we don't like.

I had a couple of cheeky buy orders just below 4p, which didn't get filled. Looks ready to breakout and make the next move up. Think we will close the month in the 5s.

Doc - I think today's volume coming in probably dispels the notion of another raise just right now. The market rarely times these things wrong. It suggests that what has happened is that the 'pause' in newsflow has allowed a slow tree shake, which the more sophisticated have taken advantage of. Whether or not the company have 'enabled' this, who knows. Certainly the insti will be in regular contact with them, and BG won't be ignoring their emails for sure. The company that recently initiated coverage on OMI confirmed in their write up that they have been in recent contact with OMI.

In terms of the finances, OMI have got enough to cover drilling at PEPAS and the minimum spend at EL PANTANO. I think they could probably afford some diamond drilling within that as well.
