RE: US Listing13 Jul 2025 12:54
Thanks StM - good to see that MR didn't dismiss it, and his thinking was similar to mine, in that he noted the involvement of the DFC as a possible reason to consider a listing in the USA.
PFG - I think it can work both ways. There will be some stocks that benefit from additional liquidity from being dual listed and it can help them with liquidity and raising money. A recent example is OMI, whose last raise was on the TSX, and whose share price has recently been moved as much by TSX action as it has by AIM. GGP have gone for a listing on the ASX I believe. Didn't GMET go OTC and have they not benefited from that. Recently its been the vogue for the bitcoin treasury stocks and I know some pharma stocks benefit from exposure to the US markets.
Whilst there's no guarantee that it would make a difference, if Orom Cross ends up being THE critical source of graphite supply for the US, and funded by the US Govt, I can't see how that wouldn't be of significant interest to US investors?
Moreover, apart from the extra red tape - which I would imagine would be minimal and is outsourced anyway - what would be the downside?
