The first half was just pointless - but I thought he did a really good job of conveying what a great opp Bres is. He repeated his "this is going to make our careers" line and seemed genuine in his excitement about all things Bres right now. Almost like the cat that has the canary in its sights. Like MR, he exuded some confidence that funding and offtake won't be an issue for Bres. He described OC as "globally" important and that it will be the leading source of graphite for the West. Also, he gave a far better answer than the usually unflappable MR when it comes to Bres's value!

Could maybe be a bit more polished and less casual, but his genuine excitement is there for all to see.

You hardly ever come up with a reasoned counter argument, so resort to childish abuse. I've made clear that I think funding will be needed. Drilling aint cheap, it's been a year since the last raise, and cash reserves were down to £0.43 million as of 31 May. Hence I don't believe "future" operations (i.e. drilling) can be funded out of current cash reserves. There are no "current" operations as everything is on pause pending the permit.

Sir H - even if the permit lands before the AGM, what do you do then? Do you trade the spike and then exit before the AGM, or hold into the AGM and the subsequent placing?

Or take the risk that there won't be a placing (and ignore the AFR in the process)?

We've had placings at 4p and then 3p, which might explain the overhang. Plus we don't know how many in the money (broker) warrants there are left. The last RNS simply said 2million had been exercised, but didn't confirm that was the lot?

But I think a move up from 4p must be close.

Yes, not overly fussed about exactly when production will commence. Even October would be remarkable speed. I'd say what's more important right now is getting to the 5 commercial wells to feed the production plant. And as they come to the end of Inez, they are looking good to have the fifth production well drilled and tested by the time the production plant comes online?

The current plan is within the current financial budget - confirmed in RNS and in the interview. Hopefully, the plan will lead to a significant increase in the share price by the time it is completed. Within this plan, there are a number of potential value inflection points.

If the MRE comes in at around 300koz, then that's about $900 million of near surface gold. At $2000/oz gross margin, you are looking at $600 million gross profit.

Now imagine if they were to find a PEPAS 2, larger than the 300koz PEPAS 1?

And then imagine if they were to find gold/silver at El Pantano?

For sure, and this plan guarantees us regular newsflow. Wouldn't surprise me at all to get monthly RNS.

October is even better - it will co-incide nicely with the seasonally strongest part of the year for the markets.

What did folk think of the plan outlined in yesterday's RNS? Personally, I think there is much to commend it. Moving PEPAS into MRE and a production pathway is a value enhancing step for sure. If the MRE comes in at between 200 to 400koz, that is surely something the market will take notice of, especially with gold at record prices. But the other reason why I think its a smart move is that bringing in this expert and utilising his expertise, as well as more sampling work, to locate more high grade zones and any source feed, should increase the chances of finding more similar deposits at PEPAS once they resume exploration drilling.

So it looks like the order of events will be:

1) MRE drilling at PEPAS

2) Expert study to help OMI understand PEPAS better and guide future exploration drilling aimed at finding more high grade pods and likely source feeder zones. "The outcome of this study will likely be a work program of surface sampling and mapping that may provide drill targets around Pepas."

3) Resumption of soil sampling programme at El Cedro.

4) Drilling at El Pantano.

5) Publish MRE at PEPAS

6) Begin the hunt for PEPAS 2/3/4 ....

All on offer for a crazy 8p.

I have the trolls on filter, but would suggest that if they are threatening other users on the BB with whatever kind of action, that this is reported to LSE. Let LSE sort em out, as threatening other users will be a breach of their T&Cs.

Excellent RNS today - we are literally a couple of months away from production. Just need positive results from Inez, and we can then drill the fifth production well with increased confidence. Assuming positive results from Inez, then next leg up takes us towards 40p imho.

Great post from Kaeren re Lassonde Curve - we are in what is called the pre-production sweetspot - and companies in this position usually go on to make triple digit gains in their share price.

Hi KR - The news yesterday was only the first part, the market will want to know the flow testing results. I don't know when they will drill the fifth well, but today's RNS seems to suggest it won't be too far away. I do think if the flow testing results are positive, then HEX will make another move up.

I don't think the share price has capped. It is simply retesting the recent breakout above 26p, and I think the flow test results will determine which way it goes.

Todays RNS about production was also positive, and it looks like HEX will be producing around Sept/Oct. Enough time there to bring the fifth well onboard as well. "IF" all goes to plan, I can see a move towards 40p on the horizon.

Just need the bid to tick up to 4p as the sign that another move up is coming imho.

I don't think it will take production news. Successful retest of 26p and then off we go again - but which might need the flow test results.

Don't forget the insti's that we have on board now. They will want to get in on the action.

If they find PEPAS 2, then all bets are off. There's no way the market can ignore $2 billion plus of near surface gold ready for low cost production. GGP style rise on the cards.

I find the GEX comms to be quite misleading. There are no current operations that are being funded, because they are waiting for the drilling permit. As the RNS makes clear, only once the drilling permit is granted, will the company then undertake repairs at the Hussar airstrip and access roads, and begin to construct drilling and camp location pads, as well as water wells.

I believe they will get the drilling permit, but whether they will get it before or after the AGM, who knows. The two key isssues for me then are:

1) Is this above mentioned work going to be paid out of the cash reserves (that they don't actually have according to the AFR)?

2) Then what about the actual drilling. How are they going to pay for this?

I remain of the view that a big placing will land here for sure post AGM. If that makes me a troll, so be it. Just my honestly held opinion.

Get the 8s before the TSX opens at 2:30pm and sweeps em up. The majority of our insitutions will be TSX buyers I believe?
