The Trade Idea:
LinkedIn (LNKD) Long:
Entry Area: $200.00
Target Area: $210.00
Stop Price: $196.00
Why I like LNKD Long:
I like LNKD on the long side above $200. Like a lot of momentum names, it's gotten hit, but it looks like it's trying to come out of a base. The trend is still down but a relief rally could last a week or two.
Earnings are on 2/4 so there is risk there. I'm looking for it to hit $210, and I would place a stop at $196 for a better than 2:1 risk-reward.
Note: While I provide a concrete action price, target range and stop-loss level in my Trade Idea of the Week, every trader should manage trader according to their own risk tolerance, time frames, and strategy.
In the T3 Live Virtual Trading Floor(R), we have a team of contributors who would potentially manage this type of trade in very different ways, and there is no right or wrong way. With a VTF subscription, you can see when I enter and exit all of my long and short positions in real-time.
*DISCLOSURES: No position in LNKD
