88e trade I closed it yesterday for £805.50 profit. If greed hadn't got the better of me and I had closed when profit target 2.35 got hit would have had £1,500 profit. For those still in may have more mileage as news is expected in August/ September. 88e chart update The T line should have triggered you and got you on board for the ride after months of waiting. I'm in at 2.005. See updated chart below. Reasonable targets 2.35, 2.82, 3.3, 4.3 AND 5p but in case the herd drive it higher let's go for 6p as well as watching when to lock in profit, following T line rules. Very poor volume but I don't take notice of volume or whether trades are buys or sells as waste of time imo. Good answer scotlouie and I see where you are coming from especially as you work full time and don't have the time to day trade and go for longer time scales. The shorter time frames are really only useful for intraday trading and are not so reliable resulting in more false starts. I use the daily weekly and monthly for longer type trades which can last a few days to weeks and find the tline just as if not even more effective. eg Fitbug took 5 weeks to rise from 0.38 to the heady 26p and has taken many many weeks to fall back to 0.25 see weekly chart below. There was one chance to buy at the end of the first week and 3 false starts on the long road to hell. Price closing below the blue T line has kept me out of venturing back in again and cut my loss short on one of the false starts that I decided to trade. see others as examples. He only uses horizontal lines and specialises in forex but I have found they work on everything else. He also uses point to point trend lines but no indicators which may suit your style of trading. Good evening scotlouie. Very impressed with your charts. Not cluttered, just plain and simple. I notice you don't include the T line ema8 or the 3ema for entry and exits. Have you tried them? I used to do breakouts, wedges, head and shoulders but found them too unreliable but I still follow tramlines which are one of my favorites.
