Premature, jumping the gun not sticking to rules placed too near 9pm and immediately after a 20 pip winning trade. should have taken a break.LACK of discipline my biggest bugbear. As this is small bet for me will let it ride as confident price will retrace today. However may consider taking out a short for same bet size instead of crystalising the loss if my confidence is misplaced. That will stop the loss getting bigger. Good morning craigawilde. Please don't despair. I wouldn't say racing is rigged but there are some canny trainers out there who can aim a horse at a suitable race and pull off a surprise, otherwise there would not be so many really long odds winners. I'm talking 14/1 upwards especially the 33/1, 50/1 and 66/1's not forgetting 20/1 and 25/1's. There are also quite a few 16/1's and my beloved 14/1. Also, don't forget what Harry's acquaintance said' If horses could talk I would only send half of them to race'. It seems from your post last January that perhaps you should reduce your stakes and make it a fun past time. I gave up long ago trying to make it pay despite Harry's gems from time to time and my recover all losing bets staking strategy, which kinda takes the fun out of spotting a winner just on form and is time consuming. As for shares I see you said you lost £50k. Try avoiding AIM shares altogether, unless you use the T line to get in towards the bottom of a spike and leave before the inevitable road to hell starts and don't chase them if the train has left the station. Alternatively try the Tline in spotting those V and inverted V moves on the FTSE that occur every day but don't go overboard on the stakes as the Tline is not infallible there will be losers. Alternatively take a break from horse betting as I am doing because my betting bank is severely depleted on a run of losers not included in my recovery of losers staking plan. GLA.

For all newbies to this chat board and there are quite a few as a result of the crass LTHs on the 88E chat board trying to sabotage this thread. Hoisted by their own petard comes to mind. For all the newbies to this thread recap on the straddle. Post originally made in March. It is stressed that this was me TESTING the straddle on my DEMO so the profit of £73k NOT REAL MONEY. Bet size was £500 a pip. I have since starting using it on my live account on the FTSE and on one non farm payrolls to good affect but on much lower bet stakes. Good luck trading investing always. LEFKOSIA 12 Mar '16 Update on the straddle strategy used on the FTSE yesterday. Made 33k between 7 am and 9.30 am, see my post yesterday. That's in 2 and a half hours. Increased to 73k in the next 12 hours, a very long day. see results below not one losing trade in accordance with the strategy.These results based on 500 bet size which most of us i would hazard a guess could not afford using proper money management, unless one was gambling. Good morning to those who have just viewed. You are up early like me. Also welcome to this chat board all those from the 88e chat board. This is an altogether more friendly environment where we are all here to help each other. No arguments. Just views, opinions, questions and tips so do not be afraid to post. No one will bite your head off, ridicule your post, hurl personal abuse at you. Please read my very first blogg which sets out the reasons for originally setting up this board and its aims. I've noticed that viewing dropped when I digressed into forex so I will be concentrating on AIM and FTSE shares in future.I will still do the usa non farm payrolls each first Friday of the month as the two trades that it generates could be the only trades one needs to do each month to earn a decent income each year, leaving the rest of the month to do as one pleases. Spend more time with the family, more time doing a bucket list, more leisure time to follow your interests, hobbies. However, don't overstretch your bet size and paper trade the straddle on a demo for at least 6 months to make sure one has a handle on how it works and you are comfortable and confident to execute it in a live real trade environment. I will also keep highlighting the opportunities of using the 12 major candlestick reversal patterns at the end of a trend coupled with the 2 emas for spotting POTENTIAL future price movement on the FTSE as these occur daily on the lower time frames, especially the 5, 10 and 1 minute time frames. None of the strategies will make one rich overnight but if used sensibly with proper money management, risk reward assessment, discipline in keeping to the rules/plan of the trade, one should avoid the pitfalls of making bad decisions and losing money. It requires hard work and education, no quick get rich promises. As always good luck with investing trading.

Oh good lord. Those LTH on the 88e chat board don't like me or the T line. Good afternoon all. Apologies for all but one of the previous 7 posts. They are the incumbent LTH on 88e, ramping it. Pathetic. 88E MAY well be about to boom but DYOR, IGNORE the rampers and use the 2 emas to assist with your decisions not forgetting the 12 major candlestick reversal of trend patterns and other indicators to add strength to the high probability of price's next move i.e. ema 54, your perceived support and resistance, point to point trendlines, stochastics 12.3.3 and fibonnaci. The investment calibre of the first poster ThaiSmile , who admits to being inexperienced is evident in his very first post reproduced below. 'Why on some trading days do more shares get bought than are sold yet the share price sometimes goes down?' . Now I pose the question. Would you rely on his advice, devoid of any constructive reasoning or the Tline? As for brynbal here is his post to the unfortunates who bought 88e at 4p. 'Brom for us that are here for years waiting for 12 p again,I would feel that there is no way we would sell at anything near that. Why would David Wall go through all this just to get us back to where we started?' Speaks volumes about his investment acumen and the sheer folly of being a LTH in AIM shares and not cutting one's losses short. Kevflint72 appears to be a chartist relying on pivot points support and resistance. Nothing negative to say about him although he seems to enjoy calling me leftyteacosy. Whatever turns one on! Happyholder Another long term holder who posted the following on the 6 April when price closed at 3.22p having been as high as 4p that day. It hasn’t seen that price ever since and promptly started to decline to a low of 1.55 on the 24th JUNE less than half the price of his top up, current price 2p. Note he claims T line does not work but fails to articulate why. His approach to top up at 3.22 was CLEARLY in need of the Tline rule! 88E RE: 10.5p 6 Apr '16 Great opportunity to top up when I thought we would be much higher so a BONUS. Slow but sure ATB HH TimO This fellow is the organiser of the 88e Long Term Investors Group and claims they are ‘all sophisticated investors’ despite the comments above. In April this group were sweet talked by the BOD at a presentation and later that month a fund raising placement at 1.9p was made. After an initial favourable reaction price descended to 1.55 and has only just recovered last week to 2p on no news. ‘Don't worry, we are all sophisticated investors, so if you are thinking of joining the 88e Long Term Investors Group get in touch:’ Jiddy123 This is also a LTH who for some bizarre reason calls me by the English equivalent of LEFKOSIA. She/he also admits to still having a significant holding in 88e at 0. 5p+ average despite price reaching 4p+ before halving in price to the present 2p. Speaks volumes about her/his investment acumen . Appears she/he left £100k paper profit on the table if I have done my sums right! ‘I am sure that there are a significant number of us with more than 5M at an average of .5p+’ All except Kevflint72 claim that the T line is rubbish, drivel etc without an iota of constructive comment to say why it is, despite being invited to several times. Sad really. Still they say one can’t teach an old dog new tricks and one can lead an ass to water but can’t make it drink. Their loss. 88E may very well turn out to be that crock of gold. I recently made £1k on its recent spike in a couple of days using the T line and the 3ema. I only need to achieve that level of profit twice a week that’s the equivalent of £100k a year. A £5k investment in 88e to produce £100k in 1 year’s time would require 88e’s share price to be 40p by then . I believe Jiddy123 is expecting 40p in 2 year’s time. gOOD morning NFL i believe you said you were into or looking at EOG and don't bother with chat boards but I picked this up today.I know don't believe a word posted on chat boards so DYOR. GL jusmasel Today 04:37 I have some 'inside' info on your comments. First though our SP is down because of the M&G sale - nothing more. M&G were faced with massive withdrawals from their funds as Brexit loomed and they had to sell off under direction from the Pru - so it was a forced sale. M&G did not contact EOG about their sale and EOG didn't know who the seller was until M&G declared it. However the sale was going through in dribs and drabs on the open market since the beginning of April as 'T' trades. The broker concerned with the deal would have tried to offload the shares in a bundle for sure but for the same reason M&G pulled out there weren't any takers and M&G needed to sell fast. It was a forced sale in effect and the MM set a really low price compared to when the deal was struck in April. All in all, while of course it brought the SP down a bit, it is not all bad news. We have attracted a whole new bunch of investors and for those of us in the know who like a bargain we have been able to top up at ridiculously low prices. What we are left with now is an overhang - the MM has still a couple of million shares to sell by my reckoning so the SP might not move up for a bit til that gets cleared. I think the award of the options tells the story - there is good news on the way and the directors and employees want in but can't afford to at the moment. I remain very confident with this share.....

88e MY UPDATED comprehensive analytical technical analysis of 88e using candlestick reversal patterns, the Tline ema set at 8, ema set at 3 and 54, stochastics set at 12.3.3 and Fibonacci. Breakout and price has closed above T line very bullish. However followed by doji, indecision candle and bearish hammer so be wary. Weak bearish downtrend may have ended but the 2 following candles, representing investor sentiment can hardly be viewed as bullish especially as price is in an overbought area in stochastics, BUT fundas say icewind results due soon so be wary. Breakout was on no news. Speculation. 1. Insider knowledge buying? 2. Placing coming, manipulation of price? Who knows? Best to follow what price is saying than making unsubstantiated presumptions/speculation imo. Short term outlook . Price may retrace to 1.8ish or tread sideways between 1.8 ish and 2 ish. on no news. Upside on favourable news 2.8 ish , 3.4ish, 4ish and if news is really good and the herd arrive who knows? I’ve placed a stop profit at 6. You never know! I put an unrealistic stop profit at the time of 2.20 on that share that has been suspended for far too long and got taken out for a cool £36k profit. GLITA.
