Yes I know how to work it out lol, but I am with ii and the cash left as soon as I applied and is still gone but no official confirmation if I have been allocated any, logic suggests full allocation but keen to see the official response so will hope ii confirm later and HL are just quicker 👍

John, how did you find out, my SIPP has still had the cash removed from balance and a line item for GGP allocation shares but no indication on what I have got yet

Well I hope this is starting to prep for the RTO, but so far this AIM vehicle seems to have only helped the private company but let’s see.

Currently the only positive is the people getting the shares don’t have enough liquidity to dump so they will be keen to see some positive movement that generates high volume.

Rockfall, you have done what I have done, I am hoping to get some of the 4.8p ones tomorrow as well.

The second they announced the deal the company became significantly de-risked to a level where I was happy to pile in and with it being in a SIPP I can wait 2 years or 10 years and it will significantly go up if they hit all the right targets from here on in and if gold goes on a significant run then the increase will only improve considerably more

Nova, as you are so sure stick a short on at 5p and come back in a year. By the way good luck but don’t use that as investment advice as my opinion is that would not be a good idea

MH01, northern star is a good example, but you need to really look at market cap and not SP as that shows the actual company growth, SP analysis is almost irrelevant as it never easily shows qty of shares etc.

Either way GGP is a great investment from this point, I hope I get the placing shares, but if not I will buy on market anyway, but easier if they just drop in my account.

Last gasp, I actually released funds by selling some Lloyds as the growth potential is not comparable 👍

Most people buying them at 4.8p will be holding is my view, but even if everyone sold they would only sell above 4.8p and it’s only about 190m shares anyway so 50% of todays volume. So the net affect of the shares hitting the market is it stays around this level short term.

People make a massive meal out of everything if it helps their position lol.

Avocet, no the deal is not bad for all but not great for everyone. If your average is higher from a previous trade and or/you were trading then it’s not good short term, if you average is low and your investing for a longer period of time it’s great. I am in the latter but understand others with higher averages being annoyed as successfully reaching previous highs is not happening in the short term.

Start to move away from PI’s as II’s move on and they invest more, bring stability, and ultimately request year on year growth so the pressure starts to come from the money men to see performance not opportunities to throw more money in.

I can see why people with high averages currently or traders are upset as the high averages could take along time to hit, and as for traders as it moves in to a producer GGP will become less tradable and more investible.

People want everything now, this instant etc but forget with investing if you get in at the right time you can do nothing, have no stress and do very well.

I think an explorer going to producer with significant yearly revenue for the placing equivalent of let’s say £650m market cap for ease is the right time.

Now if the journey is good and suddenly in 5-8 years you look back and say i have 10 bagged by doing nothing and having zero stress then I am ok with that.

Right took some this morning, which helped the average and asked for some at the 4.8p so let’s see what happens but this will be a decent size holding in my SIPP at a good average (will be with the 5’s depending how many I get allocated to me at 4.8) and then switch off and see a significantly de-risked investment start it’s journey over time.

Kevin, my view is it means maybe the company has time to study some. Additional ideas to maybe provide longer term benefit as they now have Telfer for significant short term revenue. Maybe the Qty of gold there will increase and open up more opportunities.

Well I picked a load more up at 5.2 this morning, so doubled my holding and given I had a low ish average anyway my average is close to 6p now and based on this transformational news I am happy they are in my SIPP and I suspect I will be in profit in the not too distant future but over the course of years I should see a very healthy increase and then hopefully dividends on top (or share buy backs with similar effect)

Great opportunity and have some powered dry incase it retreats to closer to 5 again. There was no really scramble for the door today and the larger sells seemly are being strategically placed to not damage the price further but as usual only time will tell and in reality they are in my SIPP so today, tomorrow, or this year has no relevance to me.

Bfd, what value does 70% of HAV and TEL add to GGP?

All negative posters take the dilution into account but forget to add the value back for what GGP gain.

Its like buying a house for 200k and assuming you don’t get an asset for the 200k so you think you have only lost the money
