Was about to say it GST showed a £2 profit and was only at 2p I would give up investing 😂

I suppose the topic on profit/revenue/growth is always subjective, my personal view is this years accounts will only have 3 months BAKE input (prior to integration) and that probably means more expenditure and possibly staffing inefficiency prior to integration and in reality I think any profit could have been used within the business to set themselves for future growth.

I would definitely like to see profit with BAKE onboard for a full Half year as a proof of progression, just these results I don’t.

No one is wrong or cheerleading is a different viewpoint on what each of us might use the companies cash for if we were in the CEO position.

Billy, that I agree with as well, but I want them to increase expenditures but finding opportunities to use any spare money to plough back in to the business to come out as increased growth a year later.

Still what a discussion to be having as many companies discussed on LSE don’t even know what revenue is, let alone not making losses 😂

GST should be revenue based calculation currently as it’s a growth company. If they showed any profit I would be surprised as the idea is to invest everything back into a growth company.

Current company metrics and valuations give over 2p without latest results IMO. Just because a SP is at a value it does not make that value right. Market mechanics (placings / sentiment) play a huge part in SP’s being under or over valued.

Was SWC SP at £6.60 correct for its value - no.

Is GST SO at 1.25p correct for its value - no

AD2. July 24 - July 25 GST is up well over 100% I consider that growth, with a spike that was 600%+ so that was a great opportunity if people wanted to use it.

I said last year GST was like a snowball that has just started down the hill and will pick up speed. I also said the share price when looking back will eventually look like a stair case with the inevitable spikes shares get.

So the first step was 0.5-0.7, the second step seems to be 1.2-1.3. Let’s see where the next step ends up.

AD2, as always that’s not true, it depends on your buy in time and price. You dropped in on this BB after a significant rise and pull back on a placing knowing the company provides news when it’s relevant not pandering to worried PI’s

My GST investment is currently up well thanks, a certain person brought a few shares at 1.9 placing and wants out at 2p, I brought many more I am sure, sit in profit, and would sell zero at 2p. Investing vs trading.

Trading is fine but be good at it or it’s a way of losing cash fast.

Well they have been saying a lot since they were in, so let’s see if they deliver, but the country needs it so let’s hope it has an impact.

AMS, leave them to it, they are the ones who claim to be invested in a company they don’t believe in, which pretty much means any opinion from there onwards is irrelevant.

Can’t remember any investment advice, from anyone ever stating if you don’t like the company, or have no faith in its potential then stay invested lol.

My bets ever trade was selling something at a 50% lose after an announcement I felt really affected my confidence of long term potential and I was right. So if I had the view of certain people here I would sell up and move on, but for some reason staying around and daily advising how poor it is seems the preferred route.

As always time will tell who is right, but even at these levels the last year has given a good return so I am happy even as this poor valuation.

AMS, agree with the U.K. markets. This year has been a really good year for the portfolio overall, but I have started to migrate more in to opportunities outside of the UK as value is not recognised as quickly as other countries.

I would not be shocked if my only U.K. holding within 2 years is GST.

As you say tho take the rough with the smooth and smooth should be around the corner

It’s just placing churn, that creates the drag on the SP, that’s why I want to see a 100m day as I believe that clears it and with expected news I think they will generate that volume and some.

My opinion on the monetary systems is gold will always be king as its physical.

My other decent size holding is a gold miner, as I still believe miners are disconnected from the gold price by a decent amount.

However digital assets are hear to stay and will grow hence why I am in GST as they are right place, right time so let’s see how H2 2025 goes as current disconnect in SP to value is amusing and it will correct IMO, and probably starting this month for reasons those who like GST believe in.

BFD, the fact the share opened up at a 50% increase is not usual I will agree, even with great news things typically open 10-20% up and motor through then lower percentages if news is good enough.

Lloyd, for the point the placing would have been known I think we have done more shares than that with the usual caveat being “they are not allowed to do that”

I recon we are not far off the placing being cleared now, but would love a 100m volume day to confirm it.

A lot more shares, yes a huge amount almost can’t count how many extra there are 😂.

The point is there aren’t lots more as a % and it’s being used to buy BTC so the shares increased but so did company assets.

If BAKE gets back to what it was a few years ago the market cap of GST would be significantly above where we are now just with BAKE let alone anything else

It can do 50% and be around the 1.9 placing price.

If GST demonstrate BAKE is helping and the other pillars are doing well this is going to really move.

The next step up will happen soon.

Wonder how many people will utilise the SEPA side to transfer into BAKE, now it’s available I have signed up in full and transferred a nominal £30 in to check it works and if it does might migrate from Crypto.com into it full time.

It’s unknown on here as by goes through at the mid price so the algorithm does not know.

All buy vs sells data on most platforms is just guess work as the displayed spread is rarely what it really is.
