Ian, results will be what they be, they have already told us what the cash position was, so working backwards and forwards with some calcs suggests they have grown YoY again.
The drop is not representative of results IMO, the drop to a bid of 1.0 was done on the usual group of block trades, to reach a point that generated volume for placing churn IMO, the volume / trading pattern does not suggest anything about news, it’s about generating trading volume.
Not long to wait though so find out soon enough.
I try to never get emotionally attached to a share (hard to do) so I work off the fact my calcs show me what I think the company is currently worth now and what I think it should be in the following years. Once the company is overvalued to my calcs I sell, or if it’s on the journey I might just sell some and buy back when it swings to undervalued. GST is significantly way off to what I believe fair value is that I am in the buy more camp, and if that’s wrong, it’s my decision, on my calcs.
I always go odd market cap on my calcs never SP but I invest on fundamentals not momentum trading so they are many other ways.
