Wayne, I think you need to invest in bonds or FTSE stocks. The situation is clear from previous RNAs if you don’t want to understand them or want the BOD to reassure you of your investment then it will be too stressful.

You had a chance to see out before suspension as well so if you did not want the stress of being in suspension you should have sold, out of interest if your this stressed why did you not sell out?

You can do what you want but the answer is your time to do something came and went, you chose to be on so just ride with it.

Thanks Lloyd, last time I checked in with Tim (about 2.5 weeks ago) the response was quick and the focus was 100% on the publishing of results so I doubt it’s changed and your response suggests they are doing well so fingers crossed.

My guess 3-4 weeks ago was week starting 15th Sept, but before end of Sept, which I could be way out but I am starting to pay more attention to GST for morning RNAs now.

The bright side is they will have a very good understanding of H1 results in the forward statement, so that could be an interesting read in the results.

The financial markets will do their thing, ii’s wil play games etc but as clear as night is day GGP will be worth more that 3.05p at some stage.

So we are suspended, and the usual crowd told everyone positive about GST to give it a rest un-yet everyday I see filter people and seems a topic of today is “the language the BOD speak” from seeing Ghosts post in reply to some nonsense no doubt.

How about anyone negative giving it a rest as well!!!!

Was the right time for an explorer to raise as they are just derisking.

It won’t be a shock when the SP hits 0.4 and from then on I would assume the SP will change and start to rise on anticipation again.

My personal view was they should have done something in the first week of suspension to give some of the descriptive element of the year end report out to help investors see the progress whilst awaiting numbers.

Given the time lapse now my assumption was it will be in the finance report. The biggest genuine mistake I think they made was collecting a placing for BTC and only advising they purchased 1. Now I would not care if they want to buy at the right time but after the collection of the placing I would have liked more transparency on when, if, and how they plan to buy.

No news by end of Sept would I believe be frustrating from my perspective although would not be hugely unexpected with a change of auditor in mid August so my view is just await news and see where we go.

I would assume anyone who invests in GST has other opportunities, I did and to be honest GEO has done me so well and I am up circa 250% but with a smaller amount but my portfolio is the same value now as it was when GST was 1.2p, when GST comes back I will do very well.

I doubt anyone in GST is just in GST so I think it’s beyond obvious people are trying to make money elsewhere don’t you think?

You will get a factual update with the results as that is what GST have always done, and I guess the priority is to complete the results so it is what it is.

If I was the BOD I would have issued some update in August but prior to suspension they told us the cash available at year end so I guess to some degree they have already given a big hint on progression.

Anyone with a google search bar can confirm the reasoning being pushed on 40 days and again with said search bar check out all the suspended shares beyond 40 days that have come back. I have been in at least 3-4 myself lol.

People have to either hate something or love something these days when discussing things as it seems people think giving a definitive answer to something on the extreme edge is needed to show you are clever.

Was going into suspension because of failure to produce accounts a good thing. Of course it was not regardless of reasons.

GST will relist when accounts are completed because I have said it before it would relist even if the accounts showed last year they lost £100m and purchased a toad farm in Peru!!!

The direction of the SP on relisting will be down to the results but to actually drop the results would have to be catastrophic. As even poor results would have kept GST around the 1-1.5p level IMO.

What will be will be, go make money else where and I am starting to check for RNA’s now but I suspect 2 weeks at the earliest still.

Well some of the stuff mentioned on here about 40 days, and what an auditor should do is comical. My suggestion would be if you don’t have a clue don’t make statements

AMS, in that case you are right I doubt anything would be said after 1 month of new period lol.

The reason for an audit change in GST is not likely the treasury as that was after the period. With no knowledge my assumption would be BAKE coming on board has changed the risk profile for the auditor. BAKE offers a lot of services like lending, buying, interest etc etc, so my assumption is that period of BAKE being in the accounting period was the increased risk.

Hopefully another 3-4 weeks but we will see

Sheephatch, actually very similar to me, almost to the QTY. I sold 50% of my ISA holding today as it was up 150% and kept my SIPP holding so I have around 2.5m in SIPP and 1.5m in ISA.

Going into drilling this will go up but need to protect some capital and moved it into GGP as that IMO is undervalued, but short term GEO should do better, just need to diversify a little after a good rise and wanted something safer (in theory)

This will do well and really happy to be in this till drilling results now, although being open I might top slice another 25% if the move up prior to results is decent from this level.

BFD, that was my guess for week commencing 15th Sept but was going to start thinking an RNA could drop from next week onwards if it was really quick.

The desire will certainly to to get done by end of Sept for obvious reasons I would assume.

The longer it takes the more detail on the next year H1 I guess would be known.

I am starting to wonder if there is going to be some confirmation on the oil side as I was expecting a rise in to drilling (obviously) but was expecting a small 5-10% rise every few days not this type of larger rise days, even when potentially undervalued.

Either way it’s good to see some positive movement

@AHS, last time I checked companies are valued off their market cap not the desire to be a 1p, 5p, or 20p company but what do I know, which means a 10p company can be fred in a shed or a £1b company lol

GST can relist with the worst results in the world, so any comments suggesting they won’t relist are just nonsense.

Cardinal, the new auditor came on board on the 13th August so as you suggest the new auditors will be doing their DD which I would assume is 3-4 weeks if it’s simple or maybe longer if not so I would say the time to start considering an RNA on results is start of sept onwards, if I was a betting man I would go for week commencing 15th Sept, but that’s a complete guess using some limited experience of some simplier financial audits.

Either way like Cahus I am not worried when reading the RNA’s and the BOD have so far never put anything in an RNA that I have found to be anything above board in my time of investment
