Just accept they, knowing crypto service business better than you, have got a work around in place and will reapply.

Yes Lloyd, that is my opinion also given the tie up they had anyway. That and the pivot 2 days ago is why the services are uninterrupted as without them 2 aspects in place it would not work in my opinion.

You use the buys and sells algorithm on LSE to determine what’s a buy and sell and now your going by the published spread which is historically rarely correct on GST.

The actual situation is realistically we should have closed at close to 20% up and buys were around 0.545-0.55 depending on size and sells flicked between 0.545 and 0.527 for the later part of the day so actual spread was 0.55-0.527 so perfectly normal and no where near 13%

Obviously if you know the above and how it works then apologise for pointing out the obvious

On wider news I thought I miss timed my sell on the 24th from a gold miner as I expected a pull back but the gold price went mad again, but with some luck (no doubt) it has pulled back 5% so a little further I hope before I can jump back on that gravy train 😂

The rise is nice to see, the implication and risk that today’s announcement has brought is priceless.

Not a single person in investing could see today’s announcement as anything other than great news, removes a huge amount of short term risk and allows GST to concentrate on having a good start to the year on the other pillars, will the next announcement be Semnet arbitration completion, metapay completion, some stable coin news (sandbox) or another out the blue announcement as fundamentally all of them can easily happen in January, would love Semnet this year but maybe a little too much to ask lol.

Let’s see if Semnet drops before the 5th on the terms stated as they said late Dec / early Jan only a couple of weeks ago.

Summary is more good news is due now for at least 6 months rather than bad news so if you still see today as a positive news for your short position then that’s your opinion so good luck.

Yes I see no issue with meta pay and never have done, that will complete when it completes and then GST is really starting to take shape as a neo banking platform.

Nero, Semnet will be resolved soon as the interims suggested late Dec 2025 or early Jan 2026. The fact they suggested what was coming to them suggested it is the final agreement to be drawn up and signed.

If GST resolve sement early 2026, get stable coins back in track, get meta pay sorted out then early 2026 is going to be a great start to 2026

If GST kick off in Jan now with the stable coin side then all the building blocks really are in place

Mouse this acquisition is not a change of direction or run out of ideas, it’s solved an issue, if it arises, and also adds to the customer base and business footprint.

Here is my view on what will actually happen,

Firms not applied before the 31st Dec will not be allowed to trade

Firms who have applied before the 31st and who have been informed they failed will not be allowed to trade.

Firms who have been successful will be allowed to trade

Firms still under review will be allowed to trade up until a decision is made and then I would assume a grace period to sensibly bring things to conclusion.

Regulation related items tend to have extensions on top of extensions, where the wheat and chaff are sorted in stages.

Lets be honest if GST don’t know now the chances of the BoL working over Christmas with an approved / not approved stamp are some where between Bob hope and no hope given its apparently lots of firms not just GST
