So many of these Renewables are at lows ATM...

Is it just as simple, as being an unloved sector due to everyone on the REM's, or into Tech ? ?

Or something more fundamentally wrong with the business models ?

Most of the Shares that I'm holding or tracking are also conducting Share Buy backs and with a Typical approx 10% Divi on offer....

What on Earth am I missing ? ?

Interesting, I also checked DividendMax, and you need to subscribe for next announced Divi's..

Has Divi's been confirmed for upcoming Quarter's then, anyone ?

Last week it was stating 17 % odd for Divi, now showing 12% odd..

Checking what I've missed, but if anyone has immediate answer, please share.

I completely agree.. Trump had dismantled the foundation of the USA being a trusted partner for business and security.

He acts like a wannabe Emperor, renaming buildings, legislation and policy with his name and defacing the White House itself with his vanity ballroom.

Renaming Gulf of Mexico so early and his rhetoric on Panama, Canada etc were red flags straight away. But everyone said judge him on his actions, not what he says. Trouble is, once actions were taken, everyone stands shocked and it’s too late, then running around like headless chickens confused how to handle him or the situation.

Trump with his Truth Social, his Vanity TRUMPDOGE Coins, Gaza plans, his offshore Qatar accounts stuffed with cash from Venezuelan oil money, his swearing on live TV, his middle finger to a factory worker, this security council inviting Russia and Belarus FFS, just to name a few situations of how insane he is, shows examples of a greedy, corrupt petulant child, and that’s without previous impeachments, prosecutions or even Epstein.

Trump will go down in History as a terrible Leader of a once great USA.

America will never be the same again because of Trump, all IMO.

The approval of the Chinese Embassy also a dark path to travel..

I fully agree, reduction in DIVI, in favour of a Buy Back at these prices would do wonders for long term safety, especially if they propose a steady increase in Divi YoY, say 4-5% to show shareholder value in returns. Surely that would encourage potential new buyers in, whereas alarm bells always ring when Divi’s are over 10% in any sector.

Reduce Divi to say 8%, with yearly increases planned and a nice regular Buy Back for any float able to be soaked up under 70p. Then pause and re-evaluate the sector and better understanding of legalisation.

Divi’s are too high, Buy Backs would be great value ATM.

If it’s still under 50p still, I might Top Up end of month.

Or UKW if still under a Nugget, or maybe BP if that dips under £4

In regards to Pension contributions,

I currently pay just over £800 per month into mine, although as from 2029 when the Pension changes come in, I'll be reducting to about £180 per month.

I wonder how many others will reduce their contributions as well due to Rachel Thieves changes ?

Hi Theaky, I thought this was mostly common knowledge to be honest. Americas stranglehold on Petrodollar has been weakling over the past few years. Helped along naturally by Russia, China, Iran, IE, restricted countries via sanctions, forming BRICS and encouraging the majority of oil producers and countries by highest population, into currency other than the Dollar.. Trump needs to plug the biggest debt gap , and his Ego is just short of being big enough.

Well, re-investing those Divi's into additional Divi payers and with compounding, you'll double your wage soon enough.

Although, I see all these Renewable's high Divi's at severe or at least very high risk of being re-based.

Who know's, because as you say, when you have the situation "when our investing thesis is right, company operates strong and profitable but market marks us down heavily.", then what the hell doe's anyone do..

By all accounts, the Globe is due a massive correction or possible collapse soon. But I keep buying / adding across different sectors.

I have 20 years left till retirement ( Hopefully, health permitting ), so should have time on my hands

I've been entering positions and building.. I do hope Divi's are stable across the board, otherwise I would be trying to catch a few falling knives here, as I'm building for the Divi's and the idea that renewables are the future.

I think Trump could have gained a great deal of support if played this slightly differently.. Ask for more military bases and Mineral extraction licenses from Greenland, not bulldozing over an ally trying to subjugate them.

I’m sad to say, there is no special relationship with the USA anymore, we need to start becoming more self sufficient and if that means less welfare / benefits and raised taxes, I think most of us would swallow that.

I’m also now even more weary of a Farage leadership.
