Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Share price falling apart.
Surely Brad our fearless CEO knows one can inform the market with a negative RNS and expect little reaction.
Especially from a company like Orosur who lets face it have delivered bad news via RNS more times than iv had a chicken vindaloo on a friday night.
Well at least Brad and Orosur management have not been so drastically affected with todays share price decline.
Of the $2,500,000 (yes $2.5m) they have collected in wages, the management including Brad collectively own just $50k woth of shares. Paltry and pathetic.
The average Joe blogg public member who strives and works damn hard must think if management in the know have f* all ownership of the company - they what confidence sould those NOT in the know have to invest with??
On top of that Orosur was once a 300p company and decline to a paltry 2p - a company pi**ed away.
Im staying well away...... cant trust the management deliver titbit of positive news to rope in the suckers and then crash the share.
Todays delay is just the start of a freefall i reckon.
The market has had enough of Orosurs false promises and shenanigans!
Nothing like a new LOWER low to start the day, lol
Don't forget the MMs are apparently desperate to get your stock.
Don't forget orosur a great company, with its management took this share from 300p to just 2p.
Don't forget orosur managenent have just circa £50k invested between them in this sh*ite company and collected close to $2.5m in salaries over last 4 years.
Don't forget Brad the ceo had promised any a time, busy had failed to deliver on each and every occasion.
Don't forget this year alone in four months Brads salary has been $75k. He is $75k degree for not investing a penny in orosur.
Next RNS will sink this stock
Personally i think dumb is those who belive in the orosur story, beliving a charleton like Brad who has taken a $1,000,000 in salary and has a meagre £20k invested.
Brad must have been a double glazing salesman in his past life or summut.
TJ999, i strongly believe power of attorney should be imposed on your financial affairs before you p*55 it all away, dont get old else you'll get mugged by those door to door salesman - so thick of you to belive Brad gives a cahoot about your investment!
Anyway mugs will be mugs....... Ororsur share price is performing amzingly today, people, MMs are crazy for the stock and we are at -2.5%
This will fall
Never heard so much rubbish in my entire life.
'MMs are desperate for the shares'
ffs really need to learn about supply and demand, basic economics.
If there was such a demand, then why oh why has the share price falling away like today?
Why hasnt it gone up to 6 or 7p?
Its because there is no demand for it
'reports are mm's desperate to get your shares' where is your evidence for this?
Stop talking rubbish! This share price will tumble well below 4p this week, Brad is making his next story up to explain his disatorus RNS which is to follow soon.
MMs are not playing the games, Orosur CEO who has earnt a $1,000,000 salary and has a meagre £20k investment is the one playing games.
No directors or management investing in this company, im following our leaders and not investing until they do!
Lots of shares on the winners board today - unfortunately but not unsurpirsingly Orosur is not one of them.
Many of the Orosur investors firmly in the red, many of them stressed and having to make much sacrifice.
But luckily not for our CEO Brad George, currently earning his £220k salary ($1m over 4 yr his tenure), unlike the many on here glued daily, every hour hoping for some rise, Brad prob does not pay much attention to the stock price with his measly £20k punt why should he.
Just as long as Brad is secure in his 'lifestyle' job year in year out is what matters, as long as the $220k rolls in, Orosur could find 1m tonnes of gold or 1g - Brad and orousr management are chilling away in there own little bubble
My opinion works in tandem with the share price - i am negative and the share price is negative and not increased.
The rampers have said 7p and 8p and endless riches and the share price is...........................................flat.
My opinion is therefore more honest than what most are posting.
Brad and CEO management have let many investors down time and again over the years, see posts of Sotolo and Bhargav who are seasoned investors and have 10s of thousands of pounds invested in Orosur.
This time will be no different.
The share price is now at 4.52 and apparently major news is to be released within next two weeks. Share price not screaming much higher as people know this stock is dodgy at best. Brad and Orosur management have failed over and over again - this time will be no different.
Blaming newmont for having the company in care and maintenece is no excuse. Without newmonts backing this company will flounder much quicker.
6p? 8p?
Orosur in my opinion will hit 2p in next few weeks - just watch
Im sorry i side with Bhargav more than a lot of you.
Bhargav is prob the most seasoned investor on this board with Orosur going back many years and his post number in the thousands.
Orosur from his experience has been a massive dissapoinment - they have promised time and again month in and month out over almost 5 years and nothing has been delivered.
Like most investors i couldnt give a rats ar.se how much gold there is, how they are going to get it etc many great investors have always said never fall in love with a stock, and that profit if profit. Leave the company once you make your money! - my objective is also simple and that is the share price should rise, my investment should increase.
Orosurs CEO has pocketed a $1m salary over last 4 years, his personal investment is just $20,000. This to me says a lot, for him its a lifetime job and not a commitement. He doesnt care if this stock delivers or falters. He has nothing to lose.
As long as he can spin the story and have punters investing then he secures his job month in and month out. I mean the reality is someone on a $1,000,000 after 4 years has probably spent $20,000+ on holidays in that time!
Brad is getting paid by shareholders to deliver nothing and this is my gripe. His salary should be $20,000/year and a bonus of $200,000 if he met strict targets - that would be more reasonable.
We as investors as bhargav knows are being taken for a ride with this stock it really is that simple. The CEO is vastly overpaid and is milking this company and its shareholders by giving titbit of optimistic stories to rope the next suckers in,
Personally i am walking far away from this share and not looking back.
The next RNS is likely to be an abject failure.
Chief Exec Brad George
US$213.8k/year
Total compensation
CEO Tenure: almost 4 years
Ownership 0.2% of £10m market cap = £20,000
So Brad has made nearly a $1,000,000 in his salary and his stock holding is a measly £20,000
Is he really bothered if this company fails or suceeds?
Being taken for a ride?
rinse and repeat?
Mugs game - management have nothing invested, spining a fairytale to get mugs to buy in.
Orosur will tank soon
Brad and Orosur management have loss little with Orosur as they have barely any skin in the game, check out the driectirs invesetments and dealings on google and you will see.
Sotolo and Bhargav have sadly loss so so much money, six-figures plus, it makes me feel sick (and its not even my own money).
Everyday you guys prob visit this board for a hint of optmism and hope only to be dissapointed.
Truth is now even if Ororsur find a moonful of gold, your losses are sadly beyond recoverable. Its easy for me to say, but please move on, i hope you find the willpower to do so.
You have been totally and utterly screwed by orosur and its management, maybe if they had skin in the game and something to lose they would be better delivering the goods.
I really think the current share price and state is another cycle of rinse and repeat happening. On the back of a gold rise and recent decision on Anza rampers hope and think that Orosur which has a market cap of a peanut £10m can actually go it alone- they are off their heads.
Orosur will never ever deliver, they are lining nightmare and fairytale as we speak.
I can see the RNS being littered with negatives and this will sink the stock to 2p.
Orosur will then sit in this this 2-3p range for 12-18 months before the next fairytale is dreamed up to suck in all the newbies.
Brad and Orosur management have nothing invested in the company - until they invest and invest big i aint investing!
Sotolo
The mind really boggles with what you posted - I am really sorry to hear of your massive loss.
People often think whn a share like orosur dropped from £2 to £1 that the drop is done, but when in reality the drop ultimatley finished it was at 2p.
You lossed 6 figures and the chances of you getting of that back is zero - as you are prob well aware. Orosur would have to source a moonful of gold for you to recover your losses. Not gloating in any way and i am genuinely sorry fate has dealt you this hand.
Obviously whilst you have lossed so much money Orosur CEO and management have walked away with a good salary, with few share ownership in the company - no self sacrifice has been made by them.
And unlike you sotolo who may have had to sacrifice a nicer house, holidays, a dream car etc - they have spend lazy days in the sun on a boat in the med.
As an orosur share holder we must strive for performence related pay. find the gold get paid - if not take a menial salary - not the £210k our current ceo is on - complete joke!
Its a hard lesson to learn, i too have loss huge amounts. Shares can fall massively and then fall massively again, factor in diilution, placings and inflation. Well that money has simply been thrown away.
This time will be no different, people are hoping it will be - but over the last few years Orosur have delivered bugger all.
This is just a ramp session showing an uptick. in a few weeks empty words will be delivered and this will fall back to the 2p zone where it will rests for MONTHS and YEARS before the next ramping news elevates it again.
Rinse and Repeat all over.
Better to invest in something like central asian metals - company has no debt and ACTUALLY producing record amounts of the stuff.
Explorers like Orosur are dreamers and in reality less than 5% of these sort of company make it to the bigtime.
My own opinion, massive dreams, massive losses to be expected. Not investing a dime more !
We wont ever see 12p
more chance of seeing 1.2p
Brad has promised plentyover the last 36 months, every 2-3 months their was a possibility of a breakout happening with the share price and reaching dizzying heights.
Over 36 months, thts almost nearly 20 plus occasions where people thought a breakout would occur.
And did it happen - No!
This time is no different, no breakout will be happening. when this gold rally abates this will drop like a stone.
I cant see much being delivered with ANZA, with a £10m market cap, what are they digging with a spoon?
Orosur neither have the money, manpower, machinery or knowhow or a plot of gold.
Everything is based on probability and Brad and Orosur managements probability - is bad.
More chance of a 3 legged horse winning the grand national.
Orosur is a fantasy at best, Anza will diliver f*all, the next RNS will be littered with issues, concerns and caveats and this share will plummet away to 2p.
Bhargav - really feel sorry for you mate, you have been in this stock the longest amongst all those on this board and Brad has lifeted you up and dropped you head first many a time - with false hopes and promises over and over again.
Management and Brad have very very little invested in Orosur, ask any financial expert, this is a bad sign.
This will flounder sub 4p next week
Bhargav
Really hope for your sake something positively ultimately comes from orosur.
Bhargav you have thousands of posts on orosur since your very first investment over 5 years ago.
I can see how Brad and orosur have eroded your confidence in the company. Iv only been invested a short time 4months, and it's been a horrendous experience.
Looking at your posts over the years many a time Brad promised a rise some optimistic spiel and nothing came of it and this time I reckon will be no different either (hope I'm wrong).
People are drawn in by the small market cap, potential huge reserves and the prospect of gold and every spadeful of dirt dug up.
The reality is far far different. Orosur is a complete minnow.
£10m market cap company with a ceo who has milked £1m in salary over the past few years and show f*all for it.
Lifestyle company, drawing gamblers in with the gold price hysteria and a region known for gold abundance, couldn't make it up.
This will end badly. The next RNS will tank the stock and when the gold price sinks below $2000 so will this stock.
Let's keep it simple. Proven fact is that when directors and management have a large shareholding in a company the stock tends to perform well.
With Orosur we have a ceo who commands a salary of £200k a year and has little if any shareholding of his own in the company.
Over the last 5 years he has had a £1m pay packet and his shareholding in orosur of less than £20k.
Could Brad give a monkeys if orosur fails? Not really.
With a £1m would he not part with a mere £100,000 in a company he believes will do well?
Nope.
Brad has peanuts check the director deals from previous years, absolute peanuts invested in orosur.
Which means he has no faith or conviction in it ever delivering.
Orosur have promised a lot and delivered f* all. I can't see it being any different now.
Another tumble in the morning and a drop to 2p zone on rns results.
Love your logic DrRemington:
Brad will add AFTER the RNS
Brad is not adding before the RNS because?
he has no faith this is going to deliver - orosur has always failed to deliver on promises why should this time be any different?
So the way i read it is:
Brad to shareholders:
All you mugs go and invest many thousands cos i aint! even though i know whats going on min-by-min, hour by hour day by day. il invest when the RNS results come through and only if they are decent?!?!?
Pretty much all downhill from tomorrow.
The only way this can go further north above 5p is based on an RNS showing what has been done and is being done.
Those people saying 7p and 8p before a RNS are living in cuckoo land.
If no news is forthcoming then this will tumble much further sub 3p is a real possibility.
I have little faith in orosur. Brad our ceo has bugger all invested in the company himself.
And he is spinning a Web of endless riches and talking utter rubbish.
If ceo and management have little invested they can say whatever they want, but usually they will fail to deliver.
Orosur will tank
This will never ever ever hit 8p.
Don't be so bloody stupid.
At the moment 2p looks more certain than 6p
Looks more likely of falling apart and that's why peeps are selling out.
Brad is a snake on a £210,000 salary, has nothing invested in this company.
Couldn't give a sh.Ite if shareholders lose their pensions on this.
Tumbling further
It's good to see comments posted today of varying opinions.
This is a dog of a share. Completely agree with HL get out when you can. It can reach £50 but if you can't sell then what's the point?
Like I said earlier a good share is a fluid share one you can enter and exit freely. One which operates in a narrow range. And one which holds onto a gain. Orosur does none of these!
This is just a fake rise, watch it tumble when the RNS delivers the usual garble
That nothing of significance has been found.
The grades are not there
It's going to be difficult to
Colombia laws will impinge on the process of sourcing.
Brad and his team are masters of letting shareholders down and this will be no different.
Don't think either newmont are our partners. Look at HZM they had big backing companies such as glencore. Yet now HZM is almost in administration. Why should glencore pay for HZM rescue when you it can get them for free when it falters.
Orosur is heading the exact same way as HZM.
