Following on from what Bamps was expertly explaining - take a look at slide 20 of the Havieron corporate update from September 2022:

Thanks as always TT. Interesting that the Superintendent job mentions the decline with particular reference to assisting lateral and vertical development. Contract end date 30 June 2024.
These latest jobs should leave no doubt in investors' minds that we are going mining.
Ross - you have fallen into the biggest trap. Price and Value are not the same thing.
Not sure about Ross, sounds more like Uri, someone who bends the story to suit his agenda.
Yes my condolences Tig. I think you can see from the number of messages on here there are a lot of people thinking of you at this difficult time. Think of us as your Greatland family.
It suits the market to look 12 months in arrears when it wants to. In other more mature shares it is more common for the market to look ahead 12 months or more.
One gets the feeling we are very much under the radar for what is going to happen in the next 12 months. And when the next transformational news drops it will be fun to watch the herd's reaction.
Nice summary Bamps - and right on cue the SP decides to awake from its slumber and advance a fraction.
Merry Christmas everyone - a lot to look forward to in 2023.
D4l - same to you. Enjoy joburg and see you on the 27th.
Happy birthday Panama, enjoy Venice.
sandgrounded @09.21 - I hear what you say but why would tribeca be selling at below 8p when they paid 8.2p through the rights issue?
Agreed Jerry. The thread was started by Paulb20 - one with an ongoing axe to grind; so can safely be ignored
Just had to change the subject title of the ill-thought out heading: " Is S Day about to Jump Ship".
The previous subject has had a good airing today but has now run its course and has no logical merit for all the discussions cited. Consign this heading to history for all our sakes.
schlemiel - agree 100%. Let's remind ourselves what the Newcrest job advert said about Havieron:
"Challenge yourself with us:
Establish the Havieron Project, which is located 50km east of Telfer, WA via the development of the Karlajartu Exploration decline.
Play a key role in the Havieron Project Team and it’s success with both internal and external stakeholders, contractors in order to safely and efficiently deliver the exploration decline to meet the requirements of the Havieron business plan
Are you ready to lead from the front, with the ability to inspire those around you to strive for excellence in everything they do?
Please read on...
Operations near and far:
The Havieron Project has enjoyed exploration success over the past year and is rapidly approaching the delivery of an initial resource. The Havieron Project is the primary target of the Newcrest-operated earn-in with Greatland Gold and forms a key driver of Newcrest’s growth strategy. The Project is located in the Paterson Province, Western Australia, approximately 50km east of Newcrest’s 100%-owned Telfer mine."
Deadline 6 January 2023

Hi Paddy. I agree. SD has recently committed to stay for 4 years as part of bringing in the new players.
I take all pepper's posts with a pinch of salt!
Mushy - good to see you back with your usual zest after a 3 month sabbatical. Fully revitalised, apart from the cramp, I hope.
Yellowstuff - good to see you here as well. Another GGP veteran!
JC - we saw this too at GGP in the early days with HAD5 drill results and SP barely moved for ages. And then rocket mode!
When you take into account the strength of the US dollar against (1) the pound (8%) and (2) the aussie dollar (5%), over the last year, the price of gold is actually working quite nicely in our favour at the moment.
