C7, good morning. Taking a break from some DIY. Hoping your appointment goes well this week. Amazed to see the sp sub 10p but there is always a danger to judge how good or bad a company is doing based on the sp performance. Of course both are 2 different comparisons. I did post on IMM that i'm sure the pressure from the shareholders breathing down their neck is the tradeoff the Bod's have to put up with to fund their progression. Scientists rarely see the financial gain as the 'holy grail' but see their research and development as the driver.

Sadly, biotech companies issue timeframes through naivety without realising the consequences of what they say further down the line. The markets and science are 'poles apart'. Other companies I follow have done the same, MTFB with their NDA statement and HVO with their FLU-5 statement. The common factor normally being companies finding themselves in new territory due to the science and technology being a success.

Upon commercial success, investors may look back on reflection and think 'I wish I had bought in when it went to below 10p'. However the frustration will have gone knowing the rewards coming to them once the ultimate goal has been achieved.

Rambling on a bit, so back to my lime mortar. Will light a candle for you tonight in the towns cathedral.

Doesn't matter what colour it is. Supply and demand dictates the sp direction. A sea of red and a rising sp is good to see. Only another 20p and I'm back in profit. Wrote these off but not starting to think I may just see a return. Was going to sell to offset my GCT.

Hi fruit, hope your making the most of your French retreat. Pointing up my Gites this week which is mind blowingly boring. Starting to regret not buying sub 540 now but still have my majority holding at 480. The anticipated fall back in the PoO has not materialised and perhaps the global tensions have made a mockery of the analysts.

Great entry price, as you say setting aside FLU-5 40m MC is unbelievable given the recent contracts converted with more to come.

Head, as you say just our opinions. it's what the BoD's do in relation to their pipeline and contracts that will govern the sp. I only post my views and normally in response to questions. Disappointing week for the sp, but some positive news with further contracts.

Piranha, they will be long gone before Angus generate income to buy the remaining Bergen shares.

Russell, they are not a distressed seller so they don't have to sell. That does appear to be their strategy but with healthy profits now they could sit at this level and hedge their bets knowing that this will rerate. Personally, at their current level I would forget Bergen as volume from buyers picks up.

B2HS2L, the reporting threshold is 3%. When they drop below that they don't have to publish a holdings statement.

moniman. What are you on? The BoD's have reacted to a change of trading environment with margins coming under pressure. The current MC is not a reflection on the BoD's strategy decisions. Your nerves seem a little stretched, close your laptop, let the shorters figure a way of returning their shares and protecting their profits. The rest will follow. PETS has held up well over the last few days, despite the wider market concerns. A spot of gardening leave required for a few investors me thinks.

moniman, but this is a bio that develops products. At the moment they do not have vast sums of money coming in from customers that they can cream off for themselves. The BoD's have been consistent with their PR. They only announce on news. I was buying here at 23 and at 15 following the CEO stepping down and the company issuing a RNS denying any reason for the sp falling from a 100. You could argue, that the sp was dropped in order to let institutions accumulate. The company does not have a CEO, their costs are low and there is no evidence that they are taking vast sums of money out of the business. You should be careful what you post, you badgered spurs777 for his/her comments. Very hypocritical of you.

moniman, why don't you post crap like that on the PETS bb? 14% of the shares shorted, all time lows. You really are a hypocrite. Are you invested here or just bitter that you got carried away and bought on a spike back in June. BoD's primary interests are the business and to develop it.. The rewards for shareholders follows.

Wider market dragging the vast majority of shares down. Have to agree an update would help. However, from experience after the CEO 'stepped down' I don't think any update will come other than solid news.

I guess without the RNS today the sp could have been hammered back down to 116 on the back of the wider markets. I'll take a blue finish.

Maybach, had SXX on the last market correction, and it was one of the few companies that actually bucked the trend. I took my profits and re invested on oversold FTSE companies.

He fell out with the BoD's because he couldn't get his own way. He is not selling because he HAS to. He is selling because he wants to. Whatever Doc's views are, they are the facts. He is not a distressed seller. No point in labouring the point but it has been happening for months not weeks. He has been continuing to sell from 22p

BigBite, RH is not a distressed seller. He is certainly not being squeezed. You never know, he may be making good money on the falling sp and like all good billionaires he probably is.
