Shorts closing out on the cheap. Similar pattern last month. Day to day price movement is quite tiresome. Only the investors that are taking a med to long position here will be the winners. Those looking at a quick 10% are left frustrated which is compounded by the cost of living crisis and inflation. Sometimes you need to sit back and let it all wash over you. Nothing to see here for the moment. Shares moving over to stickier fingers :)
@ Jenforluck
Avion may throw millions at this but it wont be targeted to ease IR for IMM. The reality is Avion have IMM by 'the short and curlys' The P3 results imo will be very good, however, a possibility of recommendations before moving to stage 4. On the face of it, this would be welcomed news to shareholders providing Avion move quickly.
I just don't see them being that charitable knowing that time is running out for IMM. I have always maintained that Avion have been dragging their feet and that view has not changed. They want all the revenue and all the royalties for themselves. They will get this from the administrators who will only be too happy to take their share of the pie.

You just cannot help yourself. RR and the Spanish regulators cannot hold back price sensitive information in order to manipulate the share price on the 4th August. Just stick to the facts instead of trying to influence investors to suit your agenda.
As for 'a friend of mine tells me' is utter rubbish. I cannot divulge any personal information on here but I was at RIAT and Farnborough and can 100% say no talk of August 4th was discussed.
I am here for the same reasons as you, but there is nor reason to mislead people, We all know and expect the update in August to be good so no need to ramp RR on rumour.
I know you must refresh your chat screen every minute and will respond with your usual insults but stick to the facts.

I have been a member for more than a decade, so my posts are in reality pretty low. A broken clock is right twice a day.
You seem a little irritated that I did not believe the rumour you started over the ITP date being signed off or there was going to be a bloodbath in the markets following the US inflation data being released.
Enjoy your evening on the LSE bb and keep me updated with any other rumours you care to share with other members too.
No need to ramp RR. We will all make money at this price :)
astro, good luck with your strategy. A relentless poster on this bb was talking about a 'bloodbath' in the market when the US inflation figures are released. Guess what, RR has strengthened 5% and the DOW has recovered almost 1500 pts.
My personal view is poor figures have already been factored. Economic data is not expected to be anything other than poor.
You are also taking the risk of the ITP deal being signed off by the regulator and we are approaching 4th August. Only my opinion and view and certainly no expert, just my thoughts. RR seems to be in the news every day at the moment and for all the right reasons.

Debt is a concern and that is a reflection of RR’s current MC. However, will all the projects in the pipeline which continues to grow any debt will be covered. Money is now flowing back into the company and should strengthen as the airline sector recovers.
Don’t forget, debt is not always a bad thing for a company and was a necessary requirement to increase it.
You also mentioned BoE rate increases. Without going through the company’s financials does that affect RR. Was their rate of interest negotiated/hedged prior to inflation being a factor in the world economy?
You may done your due diligence here but the fundamentals seem to be improving, not forgetting the defence budgets across the globe increasing.
As with all private investors, good luck here and elsewhere.

Think you’re p155ing in the wind on this bb. More like AIM chatter on here. Anything researched gets ignored by a torrid of price predictions posts.
I suspect that will change post results and the gamblers have moved on.
Some guys are on this bb all day, 7 days a week. Quite sad really. What’s the point of investing if you don’t know how to enjoy life.
Have to agree tommy, all these positive news stories should see us back above 100p. Just wish the Spanish regulators sign off the ITP deal sooner rather than later. If they have not attracted smaller, local investors by now then they never will.
Although the news is expected and not significant the reduction in debt should see a complete reversal of the share price direction that has dogged the company throughout the pandemic. Nice little profit on my investment here and happy to hold as more money on defence money comes our way. Not forgetting the other projects in the pipeline.

The Spanish regulators are signing off the deal but before they do they are trying to encourage smaller local companies to invest too. No date has been published (that I can find) but timescale was given as weeks a fortnight ago.

I know your the guru when it comes to investing but still waiting for the predicted ‘bloodbath’ today as you posted. (Several times)
I think my guess by a mong’ (your ignorant words, not mine) seems to have played out. The market already priced the figures in.
I’m also guessing that you don’t have much love in your life or interests outside of LSE as you seem to ‘police’ the posts you don’t agree with but today you got it wrong.
The 9% + figure was covered in the NYJ over a week ago.
I also seem to note that you cannot back up your post in relation to the ITP sale being confirmed on the 22nd.
Stick to fundamentals, not rumour or guess work. Sheep springs to mind and a stupid one at that.
@ convb
'ITP sale priceeds will be announced via RNS on or before Friday 22nd July'
Where is that information from? Still struggling to find that information. No doubt you wont answer it but result to insults. Everyone knows that the markets are volatile at the moment so inflation data will have an affect. However, the numbers are not expected be anything other than bad so it may well be priced in already.
You seem to struggle with any criticism or challenge. Have you had a difficult upbringing?
The Spanish regulators have agreed in principle for the sale but before they sign it off they want to see if they can bring in local investors. This may well be before the end of the month but my understanding is that no 'cut off' date has been announced.
By the way. Where is the 'bloodbath' in the markets today? The 5h1te you read on this bb is unbelievable.

Timing is out of RR hands. It is down to the Spanish regulators who want to try and attract local investors before they sign it off. My understanding is that if no further investors can be found in the next few weeks then it will be given the ‘go ahead’

The rich get richer. Will always be the same. Sunak and his extended family get wealthier and potential decisions that he can make will draw too much criticism. A fresh start is what the Tories need after all by his resignation he agrees.
He cannot be in touch with day to day decisions lower income families make and what sacrifices they have to make to get by. Only guy that seems to have any morals and leadership skills has ruled himself out as he puts his integrity before ambition and ego.
