Oh dear, all those angry old men that their loved one's avoid will not be happy today. Not because the dividend has increased or that the results have beat expectations, but the sp is likely to break 60p. Lets hope we cancelled a few shares this morning on the 4% drop.

currently providing me with the rise in the interim dividend of 8%. 8k extra shares with the drip. costs will reduce as restructuring continues.

I believe Lloy have already set aside £200m which they believe will cover any ruling against the banks. It was attention grabbing headlines by journalists comparing it to the PPI scandal.

The recent rise from the 40s when it was first reported suggests the ‘market’ is not concerned. In my opinion there will not be any uptick in the sp should the FCA rule in favour of the banks.

The upward trend here is not suiting everyone’s agenda so they post negatively in a deluded attempt to affect the sp.

Quite sad really. Their other posts of non related right wing views are attempts to bolster their self esteem after their loved one’s suggest they have become bitter old men.

Clearly many in here have nothing positive to say, politics, immigration, property. They moan and whine all day and night. Their loved ones have given up on them and probably wonder what they saw in them in the first place.

As a last whinging opportunity they grace the lloy bb on the hope that someone agrees with their negativity.

Expecting 60p to tumble today to flush out some stops. Not expecting to stay at that level on the day’s close but you never know.

Broker no longer having it all their own way on this years buyback program. They will do well to cancel 3.5b shares.

As I posted on this year’s announcement of the buybacks, this time the shares are in stickier hands.

Worse case scenario for the car finance introduction fee is 500m for LBG. Hardly a reason for the ‘city’ to get anxious about. Only thing that would hold this back on a rise to 70p is the wider markets. Depends whether or not a market correction occurs before that valuation materialises.

This company has been on my watchlist for a while. Just waiting for the election results and how that influences the market.

Just looking through the recent trades and the majority are Auto's.

Does any LTI have a view on this? Fundamentals look good so why the manipulation?

However, lloy are bucking the trend and outperforming the ftse. You could argue that when that trend is reversed, lloy should increase its MC even more.

I sometimes wonder why some egos on here are so big that they think they can influence sentiment and sp direction

The LSE site is full of the same comments. This bb has nothing to offer the pi. In respect of information that may help them make decisions.

It is called the ‘stock market’ because it is exactly that. A market. Prices determined by supply and demand.

Same applies to the published prices. The red or blue is only relevant if it determined at the moment of the transaction but as we know that information is delayed.

These fools allow the brokers to buy and sell at a price that suits their task. As in Lloy case, average price being paid for buying the shares is .51

Anyone selling at today’s price imo is crazy. The fundamentals (this time round) say the demand is greater than the supply

RR and BA. sp is benefitting from the current world conflicts. Defence budgets are decreasing. You cannot make comparisons other than the wider markets.

Hopefully the shares for the DRIP are purchased at a price similar to the buyback average

Think you pulled the trigger a little early imo. A lot of weak holders are being shaken out now. Ex Div and stuck in the 40s for 12 months. Avg buyback increasing which will squeeze out even more weak holders as it progresses.

Very predictable. Even got some cheap buyback shares this morning in auction. As posted several weeks ago, the shares are in ‘stickier hands’ compared to previous buyback schemes.

Together with higher interest rates this should move the sp north as the year progresses.

Profit before tax slightly above analysts expectations of 1.61b. Think the direction on the sp will be influenced by the wider markets.
