I sold out when TM announced a fundraising just before the last P3 readout. I must admit that it was more driven by fear of a trial failure of Lupuzor. My average price at the time was 22p.

In my opinion, should this trial be a success then IMM will sellout and take the money.

I also think as part of the deal the BoDs will be given a good incentive to make it happen. A nice little high earning job or a share handout.

One thing I know having followed this journey since 2009, the company treats the pi with contempt. 5p a share would be a slap in the face

Agree with DT the sp here will be driven by the wider markets, especially the US. Tomorrow will just be a trading day in favour of the institutions.

‘a ****e investment’. Surely that depends on your strategy coupled with your price bought. For me, this has been a great decision to buy and hold. The recent dividend that I have reinvested over the last 2 years has give me an average of just below 40.

Agree it’s not very exciting, especially with buybacks but that’s the very reason I bought LBG.

I did post you the same when you decided to invest here.

I also posted when I sold out just before the last readout if P104 that the BOD’s have zero interest in the private investor.

Shareholders only get any attention and thought when cash is needed.

I don’t see anything positive in relation to the last RNS and certainly confirming that they have cash available until 2025 would be a worry to me.

Shareholders have so far funded P140 to this point but one thing I am certain of is , shareholders will not see the benefit.

Revolut are working towards an IPO, essentially it’s their own valuation. Lloy are listed and have to be more transparent with their earnings and financials. It’s is regulated and the valuation is determined by the market.

Whether or not Revolution can list at that valuation is not certain but I think like lloy the market will reach its own valuation.

Interesting that any listing may coincide with interest rates coming down. Earnings growth will struggle to meet last 18months unless they increase their customer base.

Your member name suggests you are an experienced investor but not necessarily smart. My thoughts on the sudden change in the day to day price increase was the comparison with data coming from the US. The FTSE responded accordingly.

Just reporting that the chance of a recession is now unlikely in US. Walmart beating expectations and used car sales up. Interest rate cut highly likely now in the US as inflation drops below 3%.

Imo, Lloy are more likely to increase in value as its MC is lead by the FTSE despite the drop in revenue from lower interest rates. Defaults likely to be less than expected but personal contract purchases will have a drag. At the moment buybacks seem to support the reason why lloy are outperforming the market in the last 5 months.

Taking direction from the US market. I’m guessing a lot more private investors happy to hold. Buybacks seem to be offering support too despite the Algos.

Have to disagree with you on that. Best way to invest is to spread your assets so you can take advantage of any situation should it arise.

Currently getting over 6% on my savings and better rates in my children’s ISA’s.

That said, any investment advice on this bb should be ignored.

It doesn't fit the agenda of the BoD's to have a strong share price at the moment. Even IR at the company has said that buyback volume will not be high if the they think the price being paid on that day is too strong. Average price paid so far in relation to buyback is just over 52p.

Perhaps another reason why there is no parity in % gains when making comparisons with other banks.

I don’t think 5.5% is unreasonable, probably in real terms public sector wages have seen a cut when you factor in inflation. It will also take some workers out of family tax thresholds.

A little profit taking as the 60p psychological price got breached. (round numbers)

Also LBG is not as diverse as the others. Lloyds are basically a retail bank that is much aligned to the UK economy.

I wouldn’t be concerned though, the buybacks should offer support and any pullbacks will enable the company to buy and cancel more shares.
