Must say Frasers helped the shareprice come to life. Maybe the institutions are regretting their choices. IR told me a month a go that they were not issuing a update in Jan, but I feel that might be the kiss of death.

I think selling PLT is a good shout. Been in decline for years now. Boohoo is bought by 20-30 year olds, where as PLT aimed at teens and since has become unfashionable. Reminds me of Jane Norman of the early 2000s.

Everything Boohoo touches goes to s...t. The company was growing under Bob, now we are told our 'new' plan is shrinking profit and growth. I say bring the old guard back, these guys are terrible.

Tough one, I hate the current board, but this Dan guy might get it ticking. I've always liked JDs online offering having used it frequently when in UK. However, MA for me has not shown any strategy or direction. The SD website is awful and other than HofF what has he turned around? He has so many 'failures' that he put into administration. Also, I think he will arrive, declaring there is a big mess after a few weeks, drive the SP down and have his fill. It seems personal and the check mate will be - see told you MK can't run a buisness - then pick the bones for what he wants - a ready made digital department store, that is better than Frasers offering, combining the two. Boohoo will be a brand sold on the cheap in SD like Firetrap, Jack Wills ect.

That said the results are dire and I don't have faith in either option. If Dan can do what he did at Debenhams we have a winner, but if we sell the golden goose - Debs, Karen Millan - we have issues. Boohoo and PLT are no longer fashionable - scale them back or keep throwing money into the fire.
