Well done to you Earth..Congratulations.LP
Kwayboy..Hold your nerve..its going to get very interesting..LP
Richard..You are just my kind of guy..I love your put-downs..keep them coming.LP
Barnetpeter..selling out at 101p not very clever to a guy like you who, professes to know so much...but as they say, not everyone has the brains they were born with..remember, you predicted Marks & spencer would go to £1.50...any good tips for us here Pete?.LP
Good Morning Richard...Well Done to SNG and same to you, as your share tip of SNG via Stockopedia is what brought SNG to my attention .You I know have worked hard on this board to promote the company ..Enjoy the day and congratulations to all holders here....Thanks.LP
Paolo 111..What planet are you living on, as it’s not earth ....you are off your head...what are you doing investing in shares on aim?..You must be related to an ancient Mayan tribe.LOL.LP
Simon..Do not read and believe the stuff written here...please make up your own mind...this company is not perfect, no one is and in my view the show of confidence by the owners is not a peee in the wind, it’s a signal of them calling the bottom of the fall....Today will be a pivotal day...I believe a small drop, pause , then rise into the close...but hey what do I know..LP
Hi All...Just watched the proactive interview..Correct me if I am wrong but he basically told us the Avacta test works and will be used on cruise ships to test passengers...Am I missing something ?.. LP
Plus I cannot imagine many Guardian readers buying Boo shares or products, their children might but not the old girls ..Anyway who reads the guardian anyway , it’s a begging for money newspaper run by a trust with a more dubious past than many.Boo!!!!
Nothing new there...Boo!!!!
Dear all..I hope I am not sexist but too many here think Boohoo is about 16-24 years olds buying a £6 dress...it’s not..Please go on the site and view the plus size ladies lingerie...not because I am a weirdo...I looked at the girls and products with my wife...there is so much more to Boohoo than £6 dresses..the product range is vast and it caters for girls if all sizes...some of the plus lady models are older than is typical but they are no less beautiful and sexy and I congratulate Boohoo for offering a range of sexy clothes to all ladies, of all sizes, shapes and ages..I am a dumbo but Boohoo will outlive the ESG funds, the dampers, shorters and know all’s...plus it’s not easy making money on a short and not easy on a company with a massive daily customer buying base...Boohoo customers I suspect are very loyal because the payment terms, annual subscription to get free next day delivery makes Amazon look like an amateur ..Boohoo will in my view be very volatile and provide money making opportunities for both optimists and pessimists but research the history of the volatility of Amazon and understand that reaching the peak is not always in a straight line at 45c ..Long live Boo.LP
Cautious optimist...Well said and it’s game set and much ..If CV can be detected in the poo in waste water, our test in your gob by comparison , is going to be a snip...Come on Avacta.LP
Hello Rich..As you know I got in here because of you on Stockopedia...If you look at where I am invested it’s clear on all boards investors complain about MM. Manipulation, spreads, shares rises , falls, no movement...get a life please all on here...We cannot change anything but we can take the right steps..For example, if the bid offer spread is say 3% or 7% , wait until it’s much much lower but stop bloody complaining, whinging or writing rubbish..Like you I have done my research and believe in SNG..my late father had COPD and used a nebuliser two to three times a day...what we have here is a game changer in my view..it may take longer for the good news to be released..that news may not be the news we were hoping for but we do have a fighting chance that our interferon beta will help millions world wide..Like all here , I accept the risks but it’s all risk and reward and please recognise that the good news on the horizon may be good, it might be game changing...if it’s not so good, hopefully we will still get the tremendous benefit to COPD suffers and that in itself is a positive...I invest to make money but investing is not always a quick return..it needs time..Please let us be patient and let the trials deliver the results but until then, please stop whinging and complaining, SNG is a small company fishing in a big pond and finding the fish is always the hardest part, when you find the fish, it’s all hands to the pump..Thank you.LP
Hello Avacta...I am a holder here , MWG & Skin....but I bought into Avacta first ..and as time passed I got involved with MWG & Skin...GJ Brandon who corresponds for both companies on LSE ..is brilliant but it become clear to me that monitoring of waste water to detect CV19 is also going to be a game changing business...and the fact that MWG/ Skin were talking about Aptamers , let me back to Avacta...Interestingly, very few shareholders generally in my opinion know anything about MWG/ SKIN ..but that changed once and for all today...When I read the RNS this morning I was once again surprised how this had little affect on the SP of each of the 3 companies...this leads me to believe the tripartite partnership is mis understood by the investing public but sooner or later , the market will catch up, with what we all know here...today I topped up on all 3 shares and as Rich Ken keeps reminding us, the future in the days and weeks ahead is looking so good...plenty will disagree but cruise liners and their passengers need us to protect them...Celebrate because sooner , rather than later the so called clever market will see here what we already know..We have so much to look forward to , and I cannot wait for the next RNS..LP
Cammy123..Thank you for your apology..I appreciate it and accept it gratefully.Thank you.LP
Hello gjbrandon...Apart from the smart arse comment from Cammy123 ...I am grateful for all replies and especially yours...May I remind all posters I do have a holding here and Skin and the reason for posting in the first place ...my article was to judge if a guy who has over 30 years experience in the water water treatment world knew what I already knew about MWG/Skin...Clearly gjbrandon , you have confirmed that even those experienced in waste water do not understand the MWG story...highlighting MWG still has some work to go to get their story out..As for Cammy123 ,do not judge me by my handle, as that Lazypunter handle is from a business I set up from a kitchen table and turned it into a multi million pound business...I undertook a serious amount of research before I invested a penny here but my handle seems to convince some I am lazy or a stupid punter....I am neither but what some on this board show is their ignorance..This board needs to educate more, I am spreading the MWG story amongst my clients, all businessmen and women and they are all Lazypunters....but if you Cammy123 knew about their previous business history and used your stupid comment about them, as you did about me, you would be laughed at.
Education here on a complex story can lead to more investors engaging with MWG , that would be better for all of us.
I originally posted the article to prove even intelligent people in the waste water business , do not know the MWG story...we all have a part to play in helping educate those of us on here, looking for a better return on our investment and a safer less polluting planet...As a fisherman who has extensively traveled to fish, the U.K is is a good example of a country that when it comes to water management , is a third world country ...I invested here in the hope that MWG can help get our rivers and water cleaner .LP
.Dear gjbrandon,
I wrote to a contributor on Stockopedia about MWG @ Skin and their technology....See his answer below....I would be interested in your reply, not because I want to be argumentative but to better understand what our companies are doing .
From what I can see you have it a bit mixed up there.
Modern Water have a technology known as Microtox that they bought the rights to some years ago. I used it a little before that time. Microtox uses bioluminescence to measure the level of toxicity in the water. Basically the organism emits more or less light in the presence of toxicity. Sometimes you want toxicity present, e.g. because you’ve added a biocides to kill organisms, sometimes you don’t because the water is supposed to be free of significant contamination. There is no capability to detect viruses of any kind with this technique. What they have done in their publicity is made an association that COVID-19 is causing greater levels of water monitoring to be done thus generating demand for their kit but not being entirely clear the Microtox technique doesn’t detect that. ATP measurements are often done alongside the toxicity testing but they are not going to be selective for any micro-organism.
Integumen are doing something else with another company that is linked to COVID-19 it appears with Aptamer Group. That may successfully detect viruses and may be selective for COVID-19, however it looks pretty early stage to me. But the issue I would have with this is that COVID-19 is a respiratory disease that you catch through inhalation as far as I am aware. So, it is rather odd to be monitoring water for it. When was the last time you heard about monitoring water for the flu virus? See what I mean? Probably not really relevant.
Thank you.LP
Goldy7 .The Guardian is looking for a story for their left leading socialists, who despise capitalism but can only work in their basket weaving quangos, NGOs charities etc etc , if ordinary men and women pay their taxes, contribute to charities and work hard .The founders of The Guardian have a nasty past and this is rarely mentioned....plus the trust that supports The Guardian cannot be run by businessmen as it’s losses are spectacular...The Guardian sold tomorrow will be wrapping fish n chips next week .LP
Lasurus20..I logically agree with your figures but as we both know , logic does nit come into it when valuing a company and it’s shares...Tulip Bulb Mania and all that comes to mind.LP
There will be a decent new holder of shares tomorrow , that is for sure .LP
