Dear RKBeekeeper.
Thank you for all your posts on here; yesterday I read right bank to December of last year to get a grip on the Story behind CLP and the Crypto messages you have put in your words.. Incidentally, it was Iceman888 who brought CLP to my attention as he I believe has a holding in several of the companies I am also invested in. Frankly, I initially looked at CLP and thought..'CLP is a complete mess'.. I also watched the interview FG did on Proactive Investor and thought that for most people what he was saying was gobbledygook..Yes he spoke English but his message was, shall we say unusual.. ( After reading your posts, I watched the PA interview again and it was like watching a totally different interview, not because I could now understand it but I then got the message FG was telling all viewers)
However, I write for a living and educate clients in complex subjects, where most people have no knowledge or interest. I know and I know you know, the best way to educate clients as you educate them, is for them to do a little of the work and read what is written between the lines. You have excelled at this and whilst each client will see the message differently, enough will get the true message.
Your writing on CLP and the problems it has faced in the past, has allowed me to better understand what really is going on at CLP and in the mind of FG. More importantly, you appear to have an intimate grasp of the thinking of FG, and whilst for all holders here, we both know you are limited about what you really can say, it is CLEAR that Clear Leisure, have a Clear path forward. If what you suggest, will take place by next Friday. Of course, your Crypto messages do and do not refer to Bitcoin and what that may do for the share price of CLP.
Personally, whilst I am invested in ARGO, too many are jumping to the conclusion that CLP will emulate the success of ARB. Deep pockets will be needed to do that in my view but even if CLP can mine say 50 Bitcoin per year, they will need to get on with it. Ultimately, CLP as you have stated is not a normal company, and if we are to receive the €10million payout next week and reduce our debts as you suggest, that in itself will it not be transformative and allow us to have a clearer path forward?..
The week ahead will certainly be interesting and I got a small piece of the cake last week at 2.74p..I could have got a slice at a much lower level, however, it took me a while to really understand what is going on at CLP, and now that I understand I think I will try and get a bigger slice of the cakes in the weeks ahead, assuming , they are still reasonably priced. Best wishes. LP
Masks...How can you be so confident that we will receive €10.8m in cash? .LP
Lunq..I am sure I speak for many on here but where have you been these last 26 or so days...counting out your money?..LOL.LP
Mr B.. I am not a day trader, I am at the beginning of building a position, and to me, every % counts, as we all make our money when we buy, not when we sell.I did not like the widespread earlier but it has improved throughout this morning, only problem now I cannot get a price..LP
ICEMAN..What are your thoughts today, as this looks like it is going to a Quid>? ATB. LP
ICEMAN..What are your thoughts today..looks like this is going to touch a Quid before long.?.LP
Hl is quoting 17.30-17.55 and an order for 10,000 shares are being presented at 18.2232..what is going on with this share?LP
DSFLAT.. I see where you are coming from but personally, I think your prospective PE ratio of 200, is shall we say excessive... let's start less ambitiously at say a PE of 40. Then based on your figures we will have a share price of $10.40, which is still FIVE times higher than where we are at present....Five times higher than where we are right now is still so exciting. I really hope I am wrong, as I believe valuing ARGO and its future potential could only be calculated if we got inside the super brain of Peter wall..he knows what the future holds, IMO..ATB. LP
Growthinvestor20.. I like your fag packet analysis, but can I give a slightly different angle here.. You are using a PE of 30 on gross revenue..however, if we continue to mine at a gross revenue of 70%..and either we double our mining capacity or BTC doubles, or both, our NET PROFIT, in my view is a better measure for safety of valuation.
For example, in the space, we are in, we could use a PE of anything from 20 -40..but say we get to mine 200 BTC per month because we bring online more machines and BTC stays at $50,000...the valuations work out like this.( I have assumed we take a very generous 10% difference between G/P and Net Profit, as we only have 8 staff and I do not imagine Peter likes spending money on fancy offices and stuff, so I think, a net profit margin of 60%, which would be phenomenal anyway; we get figures as shown below:.
200 BTC per month, or 2400 per year x $50,000 = $120,000,000 Revenue@60% NET Profit= $72,000,000 .PA.
Take that $72million and using PE or 20 or 30 or 40, the conservative valuations come out as follows:.
$72Million x 20 = $1.44Billion valuaion.
$72Million x 30 = $2160 Billion Valuation.
$72million x 40 = $2880 billion Valuation.
At each of these valuations with circa 360million shares, we get a share price of $4, $6, or $8..
Remember these figures are conservative, as we are basing our figures on NP, not turnover..and a BTC at $50,000...If BTC goes to $100,000, you can do the maths.
Fundamentally, many companies at present have sky-high valuations with no income, no profits, and none likely for some time, with ARGO, we have an up and ready business at the cusp of making shed loads of real profits, and that in itself will distinguish what Peter is doing and on that basis, ARGO is so undervalued, not on what it is doing today but on what it looks like it can achieve..Please shoot holes in all of the above, but if ARGO was selling widgets, I would be all this company like a rash, as its future looks uniquely incredible to me...or am I simply a dumb arse investor? ATB. LP..PS I have made my money betting on horses and I understand risk..I would not go 100% all-in on ARGO but surely anyone with a brain has to have s % of their money here and just sit and wait for Peter to do his stuff.
Do not use a stop loss in a share like this...From my experience with HL they never work at the price you set...invariably you get the stop loss kicking in but way below your limit.AVOID them.ATB.LP
We must assume now that even the smallest number of trades gets the market excited, but surely not a 6% jump for such small volume.`DCTA is a great company to have shares in , though , it must be said I can only assume all the early sells drove the price down, then a few quid of buys got the MMs excited.Strange.ATB. sAs..BRILLIANT, JUST BRILLIANT RESEARCH..lp
Morning Guys.. I hope we all feel better today?...I suspect many of our newer members here have been through the wringer in recent weeks but of course, Hydro, Bamps, Paddy, Mush, Welsh & Co have helped you..Please learn from the experience as once you have 'been through a deep dive and get to the surface and breathe' you will be in a better position for the next time. I am not preaching to anyone, just trying to help new guys relax and see what we have endured is all part of AIM...I have topped up at what I thought were fab prices at 22 ish and 23 ish but the prices yesterday made me so suspicious, Stupidly I did nothing. Funny enough I tried a dummy buy for 100,000 on Monday, and it was what I thought was a great price at 22.5p...I wish I had done the same yesterday...but have you yet met the guy who does not make mistakes in the buying/selling of shares.,I have a sub million holding but not for a second have I lost faith and have been telling all my friends to buy more...most looked at the charts and stated..what's gone wrong?...My reply..nothing but the market is wrong and you will do right if you buy at these lows...GUESS WHAT..Not one bought at these super lows...Mind games kills confidence in inexperienced investors and MMs know that.ATB. LP
Do we like this?
ARBS..ITS GONE THROUGH.LP
HI Trek.. you mentioned another poster on here but I cannot find your post, can you help, please.? Thanks. LP
To you all..Where is merchantbanker?..If , if it is us, we are all going to need ODX...So to PL75 ESxx and others, wishing you a happy day as you all are made to wait, wait, wait, wait. WAIT IS IT US?..or are ODX going to steal our thunder?...WAIT? IS IT US? LP
TREK. You are a really clever guy, make no mistake, and I respect your opinion, as I know you do graft like no other on these boards, and so many people who can read between lines should be able to see what you have done for them, in some of the companies you are involved in.Thanks. LP
Mr Tan. I enjoy reading your posts, as they certainly give an alternative view on so many different issues. Post more, as I enjoy reading what you write.LP
LUNQ.
Good luck, everyone. Oh wait, no.... luck doesn’t exist, it’s just a word. But somehow the harder I work, the luckier I become. But I wish you all good luck anyway on whatever journey you are on..
LUNQ.I originally wrote to you here on 6th January and it was clear to me then, as it is today, you are a smart cookie. Like many on here, I always read what you write daily. Like you I agree, luck does not exist, but the word does and even though I have worked hard all my life since I was 8, the harder I have worked the wealthier I have become. I came from nothing, with nothing, and was determined to become independently wealthy..this did not come overnight but as my handle indicates, I made my money from betting on horses, where appreciation of risk is, without doubt, paramount, and essential if you are to prosper.
Lunq, you gave a date here when BTC will stop shining ( 17th December). ..and with limited knowledge of BTC, I could just tell from the way you write, your words were not to be dismissed. However, you have revealed a bit more about yourself today and I admire the way, you help the novices, newbies, or the younger guys on here, as we all have to start somewhere. We all learn from our mistakes and we all learn from losing but if we take it on the chin, we can all progress..I invested my racing profits in houses , which I rent out. Though I love investing in the stock market and on many of the shares boards,I am invested in, there are other knowledgeable posters like Lunq..Of course, we must in the end all do our own research and only then be prepared for the risk we all have to accept in investing in any share; no share today is guaranteed. Sometimes, though guys like Lunq, soon convince anyone. Lunq, and others, like you, are the guys whose words need careful reading, as the message is invaluable and worth far more than you might imagine. As is often the case, the true message is what is written between the lines, rather than the lines themselves, and Lunq, please keep up your great work, as education is the most important attribute anyone with wealth can share. You share well and for that I thank you.
I hope many on here who need guidance from your words, will prosper, as once you are able to accept risk without anxiety or fretting, along with knowledge from working hard, fluctuations in share prices on a daily or weekly basis , become tolerable. Once again, keep up your excellent posting, it is very much appreciated and enjoyed. LP
