Easy to spot the traders this morning - never mind. They of course are full of alternative suggestions as to how we could have been funded and the BoD had loads of offers that they ignored. Total tosh - even kittykat says they had no other options.

Must try harder guys - our enthusiasm is not dampened one iota.

Bluenose - debate and disagreement is fine - why don’t you post your view with some detail instead of always trying to rubbish others..

As I have posted, “market forces” are in overdrive at the moment with shorters and traders cashing in. Todays news is very clear with guidance on timelines and progress. The funding model is a red herring as it was needed but can be paid back at any time. To be fair to RF they need to make money also.

Short positions and traders will come and go whilst all the time Sareum make steady progress. How you deal with the information with regards to your own investment is completely up to you. Same for the rest of us.

I am fully aware that my paper wealth is under attack and that my entire investment could crash on bad news - but there is none save for those that want to trash whatever the company releases. It is all good here to date unless you can expand on what your concerns actually are with regards to funding.

As I have stated several times previously, follow the news and the science. Ahfam is correct when he states that it doesn’t matter where the sp goes short term. Eyes on the prize. Part 1 looks as if it is fine for them to be spending money recruiting for Part2, so all good.

No point in speculating on sp as “market forces” are overactive at the moment. Monitor the market cap and decide whether £61m is good value for our compounds or it is grossly undervalued. I know what I think

I would agree Xviolet. They would not wipe us out. The logic is quite simple for me. Sareum has borrowed just enough to get us through Ph1b next year without any meaningful dilution whatsoever. Obviously, they expect a deal within that timeframe which should then negate the need for further funding. As for next stage into part 2 of Ph1a, yep, all must be good as they are recruiting. They would not do that unless the data was good. Dosing will start once the Safety review committee give the green light. They may already have that and are waiting to report on first dosing. Who knows.

Hi Celtic. I think Aber is referring to the overall profile of Sareum and public/Investor perception. In terms of absolute information within a RNS then I agree with you, there is not much else they can do other than allow the trial results do the talking. PR has been a bit of a thorny issue for a lot on here and I, too, think it could be better.

Trial news and 6 monthly update may well provide us all with a better insight into developments behind the scenes in relation to 1802 in particular.

Keep the faith and add if it continues to be walked down.

Agreed Bobbler - I think they are just promoting the fact that the science is good. Although Sareum is trialling for psoriasis treatment, may also demonstrate multiple applications are possible

I happen to think that everyone’s personal strategy is good for them - even the Chuckle Brothers. If they have the courage of their convictions they will hold and wait for any selling to begin.

I think we all get carried away a bit when posted comments don’t quite match our own strategy - cue disagreement. It isn’t a bad thing though and different views benefit us all.

The main focus for us all should be news releases and progress. The rest will follow. You would be foolish not to take some cash off the table during good times as you never know what is around the corner. Each to their own and best of luck as to how your own personal strategies work out (Even the Chuckle Brothers who really shouldn’t lie)

That is a good reminder for everyone Ahfam - good post. The Chuckle Brothers are nowhere to be seen this morning and maybe they are buying in order to close their short position. Total spivs. They were behind the drop yesterday. Their modus operandi was very obvious.

Anyway, hopefully we move on into a news rich period soon. If the sp does rise after news we may see RF exercise their warrants (more money for Sareum) although they may wait a while so nothing nailed on. Great position to be in.

As an afterthought - RF would only need just over 2.1m shares to own 3% of the Company which should trigger a TR1 notification in the form of an RNS. Interesting times

RF should wait for the good news to come shortly and then exercise their warrants @143.33p. Simples.

They increase their holding and make a profit. With further news to come.

By all means blame the BoD for any lack of operational progress if that is what you believe. Don't hang them out to dry for the state of the overall market or the actions of Cityboys and spivs. They cannot control the sp, only the operational progress.

Well, it's decision time for a lot on here isn't it. To be clear I will be holding or buying.

If Maj and Co are correct, then some on here have an opportunity to sell and buy back lower. The RF shares don't hit the market until tomorrow so who is selling today (in round numbers). This is a bear raid as predicted. Whatever happens from tomorrow will not affect our progress.

As for the BoD going, really? Who would you bring in and at what salary levels and what could they do differently. Jeez, you would think that Sareum are inundated with offers of cash and chose the wrong one deliberately. Thats pure nonsense. Same as voting against further progress. Why would you do that? Wouldn't it just ensure that your investment shrivelled and died?

If RF choose to play games that is entirely up to them. Surely, positive news will lift the sp and negate the problem.

To be balanced about this, I can see an argument for both sides. Sitting on the fence is not an option though. Maj and co want to squeeze the life out of us with their short and will do all in their power to ensure it sinks as low as possible. Ride it out or get out would be my advice. Simple as that.

I am not against short sellers as I have often posted. It is the disingenuous assertions that feed the short term agenda that I object to. Yes, I am aware of RF and their reputation. Mainly in exploration companies where everything is speculative hence the need to cover their position. If anything is loaned out to a dud though, RF end up owning millions of shares in a worthless company. That doesn't suit either does it.

I made my case to your mate ThePuma in terms of what it means for M/C etc:

You are unlikely to persuade myself or any other lth's here to sell in order to support your short position and to accelerate the drop. Our eyes are on a bigger, longer term prize. With only 70m shares in circulation, you will either have to spoof the market or rely on bad news to make any real money.

No need to educate you Maj - you will be well versed in the dark arts I am sure. I have never forecast the sp etc: but I do object to individuals trying to destroy mine, and others, investments for their own short term gains.

Your assertions that you are correct would suggest that sp movement is totally predictable for you to make that assertion. It is not. You will have to close your short eventually when news drops.This mornings bear raid was predicted and has happened.
