Ok Ken. Any bond holders seeing a SP of 15p can almost double their money by converting to a nominal 8.26 right and then sell at 15P. If everyone did that wouldn't the share price dilute as the bonds represent additional issued shares

If they can be redeemed earlier does that mean paying the full price of $1500? Or is it like HP you can pay up the balance earlier therefore not paying the full long term interest. Also if they are paid up earlier POG are going to fund this with new loans? Sounds a bit like switching mortgages looking for the better deals

Has caused the SP to drop 3% quite a bit so far. Is this the tide pulling out moment before the tsunami of buying POG arrives ?

A bond is a loan , right? So you give someone money (POG) and the bond an agreement has the value of the loan embedded in it as well as an agreed interest which is paid back first. Okay that I understand . I can also grasp turning the bonds into shares. What I can't get is how these bonds are valued and the fact they seem to be swapping hands and priced on some sort of bond market

Forgive my ignorance but are these bonds changing in value, you say "The Company can redeem only if the price is US $ 1,500. or more for at least 20 days out of 30 consecutive days after 18 March 2018." So the company being POG? Redeems these bonds how? I understand the interest payments and then the full payback of the actual debt but I don't understand the bond value changing . Where are these bonds priced as you say if the value remains above a $1.500 for a minimum of 20 days after 18 March 2018. . Before you ask yes I am thick. Its the mechanisms I can't get my head round .asyou say if they remain For example who holds these bonds ?

That say '9 per cent Guaranteed Convertible Bonds due 2020 ' So does that mean in 2020 POG pays back the bond/loan with 9% on top ?

So for arguments sake if they are not convertible how do they differ to a straight forward loan with interest ?

Heraclitus and all : I'm trying to logically follow through on this bon issue: So when we talk of POG debt liabilities are they all BONDS. and how many and what was their original value and what is the expected return and for how long. Heraclitus says "1.Company can redeem after 18 March 2018 provided the price of the bonds for 20 days in 30 day period is $ 1500 or more (for $ 1000 face value) " Does that mean they were initially to the value of $1000 each ? and can be redeemed (paid off) at $1500 ? If so how many $1000 were issued. I take then that to avoid share dilution those bonds are repaid at $1500 per issue. So this new RNS is about replacing the original bonds with alternative e versions. Does this mean paying off the olds bonds with the money raised from the new bonds if that's the case is the only difference between the new and old bonds the time scale of repayment ? As I've obviously made clear over the years I don't have a great insight into these matters. But if you don't ask you'll never learn anything

But surely there has to be a tipping point when the potential lures people in. The low production: I know Hambro and Pavel were talking about the 'profitable ounce' over a year ago and how production was limited as a result ? What do I know .
