'm more down and gloomy than usual today as my offer on a house I wanted was passed over for somebody else's. But be fair contrarian I've said nothing negative tor months its some of the reactions to this new bond stuff I'm responding too.. You can't deny that some knowledgeable posters are not that happy with things. My post was only reflecting on some of the respected gloomy attitudes here. You yourself was negative about Hambro

It seems we all invested in and endured losses in, a company we don't seem to trust whatsoever and even more so the latest BOD's . I have more money in other investments but this one is like vortex tat has sucked us in to an eternal world of anxiety, fear and pain.

Didn't the Swiss government offer a bond where after ten years they guaranteed your original money back , in other words no growth but no loss.

But on better terms I would imagine otherwise what was the point

Is it like a mortgage though where they can just pay them up immediately thus reducing repayments? Also wouldn't the bondholders be tempted to cash for shares if the price looks like going above what they wanted/expected ? Bottom line is what to POG have to pay out to negate those bonds and are they using money raised from from a newer but far more sensible deal

What a let down. Funny when it starts to go up it seems the none of us want to comment too soon in case we break the spell and look like an idiot , however I'm used to it.

So at the end of the bonds life time we have paid the interest in full (almost 50%) and when completed pay the money back we actually raised from them $1000. Once done debt cleared. So is this new bond proposal just a way paying back less interest ?

So for arguments sake all the bonds were turned into shares representing 24.15% the share price will soon drop but in that process the debt would lift and then push the SP the opposite way ..upwards. Overall paying of the debt has to be better than not paying the debt off.
