All the talk of Hambro 'coming back' is simple , he wants to return the company to its former glory and as a man of honour, pride and integrity he wants to be part of finishing the job and making amends to those who have on paper lost so much. I believe if he can help achieve that he when then fully retire a happy contented man.

For the AGM but Ian 'Beach Boy' Ashby was very strict saying questions only. But I was going to ask the AGM what was the difference between the 2017/18 BOD and Halley's Comet ? At least Halley's Comet has been to the Amur region once in the last 100 years.

Blimey Rusty you needed to get that in quickly. I note last years AGM was on a Friday 22mnd June and besides the results of the AGM there was no further RNS's until the following Tuesday. So a day to go. But the communication by Peter Hambro via business news media was second to none and I'm still waiting for someone to find me a video from last years rebels

Yes I agree on your comments about the integrity of Peter Hambro and his ability as without him there would be no POG and no AGM to attend? As you say he has always been out there facing a tough media and the ordinary investors; I remember hwo he won the respect of Tom Winnifred over at Share Prophets by turning up at the 'Investor' show the year before last?

It was a strange social composition at yesterdays meeting, you could see ordinary folk like me and Millfield plus say a dozen others and then there were the manicured money men in high quality suits plus some very well heeled monies women. Apparently Millfield told me that at the 1017 AGM when Hambro et al were ousted , they all went for a meal and drink Hambro included. Maybe Millfield will correct me if I got that wrong. Obviously many there were representing those that held just below the declaration threshold. Yes it was fascinating and my first AGM share holders meeting ever. Of course being held on a Friday now means there is that two day gap for any new news from the new board. No doubt the medias business coverage will report probably in Sundays news output. I for one can't wait for Monday . By the way I loved the old Asian fellah right at the back, he was great.

I think the old sun got to me I feel slightly sick and zonked out, I also have no feelings either way about todays vote, where I thought I'd be pleased. Peter ask me but said I would would have to pay. I did try and make a joke in the very thick hot atmosphere of Buchanan Communication's offices...and older PI asked why such a bloody awkward venue. What a waste of time. I met Millfield and his son there and with a packed room Ashby asked if there were any questions. To be honest I was planning on asking the five questions that RB had postulated but only a couple of people asked questions about the debt One abot Sothic and who last years coup came to be. In fact a nice ordinary looking chap at the back of the room chimed in saying he could explain Sothics position but Ian Ashby was rather strict and said he wanted questions not statements , but Sothiic in essence was answering a question the bod mumbled and stumbled over. As for myself to be honest after a miserable journey on the bus and then the walk , I was sweating like a pig and felt totally overwhelmed by the atmosphere. When I arrived Peter Buck was having an amiable chat about football with |Sir Rod as was Peter with some other people in the room. Pavel was there too. Anyhow the meeting was poorly set up with it being
a) very difficult to hear the board
b) the voting papers had the smallest font imaginable so they were difficult to read and mark
c) there was very poor lighting

It gave me the impression the present board couldn't be bothered and Roman Denisken looked very glum and deep in thought.

Ashby was very clear only questions and one per share holder. Soon all the ballot paper (that were cast there) were rounded up and we all sort of asked when was the count and he said the independent company (forgot their name) would take the documents away and tally up with the proxy votes which would take a couple of hours and be announced via an RNS.

Like you I've just got home and seen the preliminary count which says the new upstarts have won the day. All a bit of a damp squib really

But fincraft under V V orchestrated the ousting of the old board so why would they come back in the guise of Rakishev and now want to remove the board they instigated this time last year? Unless of course the plan was to install a BoD suggestive to V V nefarious plans and then oust that very compliant lot when V V's plans had been realised. See what I'm getting at ?
