It does sound though as if you have not fully understood what the company does previously (they were never in care homes), or now with the gas peaking.

Gas peaking projects are not bought by anyone.
In being such a doom munger, it may help if you actually understood a bit more about this.
For the record the gas is what is sold, not the plant. It's sold to energy providers so that they can aggregate their supply and demand.

That's a target. You may not believe that they will get there and that is your choice.
This is the first deal, with more details to follow.
They have a competent experienced CEO who has experience of deals which would warrant this valuation. The company has the funding available to warrant this, so lets wait and see.

I don't think so. Matt the CEO also has experience in the energy sector, including the funding thereof. Green energy is one of the potential routes forward which he outlined in a Zoom call with shareholders.
From the little he has said he doesn't come across as someone who takes a punt.

This is not really about the Arlington accounts though.
The JV is about the funding and experience of delivering projects.

Look at the backgrounds of those involved. Matthew Clare has delivered these projects before and Matt from DKE have experience in oil and gas, as well as funding projects on multiples of this deal.

These were the sort of deals that Matt the DKE CEO spoke of doing when he did the first investor talks last year.
It's been a while, but patience has paid off.

The deal flow on this could be huge. With the new JV partner and Matt the CEO's background in energy and infrastructure then the sky could be the limit.

I'd imagine that the new CEO would want to get a new deal away as soon as possible. A deal of any size in the current climate would be a great Christmas present.

Those who were on the talk with the new CEO said the opposite of what you have just said.

There is huge value to come in this company. The market cap is low for what it has and where they are going. One single larger transaction will change the whole picture.

I'm hoping that they can keep a nice deal flow of smaller West Derby type deals coming through, whilst looking at the bigger deals, which obviously take longer to complete.

I don't think that Wavertree has been handed over yet.
The last RNS said that there was Practical Completion. Handover happens after that and it would have been announced.

Aside from that, hopefully there will be new announcements soon!!
