The money just raised was not for the well. It was for the ongoing work programme.

I think that they have some good assets. There are too many on this thread who aren't looking at this realistically though.

The real question is how are GEX going to scramble enough money together to drill a well?

Nobody is going to provide a pre pay off take without a flow test having been completed. That is industry standard.

Without a well being drilled any talk about anything else is a waste of time and energy (no pun intended).

It would seem that Nick Clarke and Matt Pizii were kicked out/resigned as directors of Harlequin earlier this year.

It's hard to tell what Clarke does or has done. There are numerous companies listed with Companies House from real estate to bedding.

Pizii works for the NHS in real estate and only at Deputy Director level. He was previously Head of Strategy for Surrey Council!. This is on Linkedin.

Not sure how either can fit in with what they need to achieve for such a project.



Hans Høiskar purports to have industry experience, but only as a consultant and mainly in Iraq.

So zero experience in raising funds, or project development.



A simple look at the Halo website shows that they don't have the projects that they claim to.

There is nothing on the UK planning portal which supports their claim to have a combined GDV of over £950 million!

The debt will be lined up before the project starts, alongside the equity which has been raised. They will not wait for the project to start before raising the debt.

It's very different from the Riverfort facilities.
