There seems to be ten times the news on construction which will create demand than on new lithium mining deals.
Every week I see another company looking for a resource which I have not heard of before.
Four car manufacturers now going after resource.
It is hotting up.

Exactly pjt and we will not be mining for over a year! So small incidents now are not an issue. My wife's family home is only 50 miles from an absolute no go place in the World, but her nearest city and cities much nearer are peaceful and safe

Agree it is, normally that is when an RNS drops, not when nothing is happening.

Just to put into simpler terms, imagine if they do not have to issue shares or sell half the shares in a JV. What would that scenario do to our share values?
Or will the JVs realise that they have to dig deep and write some massive cheques?

AJ, that particular deal was with Renault. It depends on the detail. If there is a favourable or free loan facility or a pot of cash attached, it would be brilliant.
I can't see them not taking material, however if they did not you get paid twice. In addition they are not giving away anything, not one tonne and they are not losing a penny off the rising price of lithium.
They are not publishing the rest of the detail, but any variance to the old get a cheque and give away half the turnover/profit is interesting.

One of the deals they have signed is to be paid the spot or market price each day, but on a take or pay contract. Interesting, the high lithium price is creating new style contracts.
Take or pay is good, reduces risk and would gain better loan terms.

Agree totally AJ, even though it would be a big packet of sweets. So far I have not seen a lithium deal negotiated in the same time frame as ours. That means (for others benefit) the initial agreement signed after lithium rose steeply mid year 2021. One agreement signed will give us an indicator of the amounts they are paying for a deal. All so far, have had their initial agreement signed before the price rise, only the final agreement signed after the price rise.

Bridge, should be a quarterly RNS. Landed historically between 3rd November and 16th December, which is why I am saying they are lucky rather than smart.

CATL in a statement about Argentina today, has openly said that they are chasing resources, they were recently outbid.

We are in the cheap phase, covid should not impact us in a big way.
It is difficult to tell if the new strain is a major risk, or if it is the TV and media pushing their ongoing campaign to get vaccinations to poorer countries.
There is too much political and social view influence in the news it distorts facts to the point that you are unsure about the truth. For instance I did not know that for the last 5 years France has been getting hardline on trying to remove illegal immigrants living in their country and have been threatening the EU about leaving some of their associated agreements.

An RNS is due any day within the following 4 weeks. Interim or quartile reports as some companies call them must be delivered to shareholders. Give us cash position, trading position and so on. It could have landed any time from 5 days before the issue of the licence until today, but it did not. It is not clever trading but lucky trading. It paid off this time if they are back in. If not still gambling.

Two of us were discussing an update of the old feasibility study which was based on spod 6 only. And I mentioned 1,250 for spod 6. I was pulled up and told to use a lower more realistic figure!
Bernie then mentioned low quality spod 5 at 1,250.

Firefinch October quarterly activity report mentions extensive drilling which they expect to raise tonnage significantly. Could include spod 5?

Their tonnage did increase dramatically. So maybe. You will find their last RNS in Google. They are firefinch, previously Mali Lithium.

Guido, exactly our risk would be political mainly. It is not a case of is this worth multiples of the mcap, but how many. That study is the only way we will know. Bernie mentioned groundwork, but did not labour on it, so there could be some drilling on ground thought to be worthless.
We are in such a good place very low market cap and company asset value above. It would be really difficult if we were sat around 180m, people would be stressing wondering if they should take their gain or wait. Much easier from the current position.
